TR For New Players

Ok I felt that this would be a good guide to help players understand TR a little better.

Starting out you will start off with one selectable race. Threw out the course of the game you will be able to unlock the other three threw quests which are the Forean, Brann, and the Thrax hybrids. Please refer to http://tabularasa.wikia.com/wiki/Mission_list for help with such quest lines. It is important to remember that whatever last name you give your charcter that all your charcters will share that last name, so choose wisely.

Each newly created charcter starts out with a clone token.  Please note it is best to use your first clone token at level 5 before you train. Once you use this token create another charcter by the clone option in the charcter selection screen. Now you will have two level 5's that you can make one solider, and the other specialist when you train them. You will repeat this again at level 15, and 30 so you can try each class without starting over. Please refer here to understand class progression system http://www.rgtr.com/game_intel/career_planner/classes.html

Leveling your charcters, and selecting the right skills can be difficult, so I find this website very useful http://trcpt.crymore.de:8080/ Please note that if you do want to change your charcters abilties or skills you may aquire assult, or defense tokens to respec.

The game world is broken down by zones which are not seemless( or open world), but can be transfered to by zone entrances, Dropships once unlocked, or threw wormhole from planet to planet. Every zone has Logos spread out which improves your powers, and abilites. Please refer to http://www.ellatha.com/TR/Maps_LogosView.asp with help to find hidden logos that are not quest based. Certain logos can not be accessed untill you aquire other ones.

I hope this information, and web sites help any players wanted to play TR, or any players playing TR who needs some help.

Its so quick to hit level 5 I wouldnt waste a clone point on it.

The specialist line of classes are able to ressurect players - using a direct heal disk as long as your have 3 or more ranks in the tools skill.

The specialist line are also the only ones able to open locked crates using the cipher tool.

Ok I got a few newbie questions coming from a newbie myself.

    1. When I try to do some emotes like /rave, and a few others it says, "You cannot perform that emote at this time." Why is that? I have seen other people do it all over the place.

    2. I tried using the Logos Rage (think it was raage) and it says I need a Projectile 0/1. Where do I get those? I am pretty sure I looked over the vendors well and did not find anything.

And nice links btw, thank you.

    1. Ok certain emotes are vet rewards, some quests, and some are CE so not everyone has the same emotes starting out.

    2. Projectile is in the wilderness. Please use the link I posted to help you locate it.
