Old 10+ year vet coming back?

I just reactivated my old UO account after 10+ years. I really miss the game and I understand things have changed. However when I logged on to Atlantic... All my characters were there, but they have no skills or items anymore and I can't claim any vet rewards. Any help?

Vet reward time is only counted for the time the account was open.
If your chars are missing all items, maybe one of your 'friends' took all items some time?
Don't know of any bugs that let you loose items on a closed account, but then it is uo and bugs are a certainty.
For the Veteran rewards open your paperdoll and see what it shows for the month amount. If it says cannot determined then wait up to 2 weeks as it can take time to update.
Sounds like to me that someone took your stuff.
There was one time in 10 years that they wiped accounts if they were inactive for three or more months. It's weird that your characters are still there, without the items based on the notice below.
Once the characters on these accounts are deleted, it will not be possible to retrieve characters or items associated with them. If you or any of your friends have an inactive account, now would be an excellent time to reactivate before your old characters are purged. The world of Ultima Online continues to expand and be refined. We would love to have you back in the game.
Purged accounts can still be reactivated, however, all of the characters will be gone. Characters on active accounts will not be affected by this purge.
I'm pretty sure I didn't let anyone have access to my account. For my characters, I'm confused that they all have the same names as before, but they have 0 skills. They all have like 102.1 total skill points or whatever. Should I speak to a GM?
GM's will not help you, and there is really nothing they could do.
UO is such an old game that they cannot see what happened with a character at one time, so they even cannot restore characters or anything else.
The character wipe as far as I understood it only concerned characters below a certain skill level.
Are you sure you are on the right shard as your skill levels hint that they are fresh chars hardly ever played.
You sort of start with free 100 skill points, so they look unplayed.

I have also just returned a couple days ago with my vet account. I had been playing with another account for a month.

Vet accounts were in effect until a certain amount of time...Then they changed it to where you had to have an active open account with them for your account to "age" to get your veteran status. It was a while back ago when I read these info, so I told my bro and we both reactivated our account, we were 6 year vets, so we both quit for 4 months or so and my bro sold both our accounts.
A year later I made a new account back on 2003, played for a year and cancelled sub. Came back 2 years (in 2005) and thought to myself...how come my account didnt age and get veteran status?...So i went to the official site searched around for a bit and thats what it said...the best I can do is try to find it again and post it, gimme a few mins...
