LFBoss Encounters

I am looking for a game; any suggestions would be great.

I LOVE Bosses/Encounters, but I am a bit picky. When I say boss, i dont mean "rawr! im a monster with a name! kill me! rawr!", I mean semi-scripted encounters, even ones with simple solutions, as long as it requires some skill and footwork to get him down. I like semi-chaotically running around to get a task done. I like the boss encounters in Zelda games, though they are a bit basic, they are simple and provide a lot of dynamic gameplay. I also LOVE Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles multiplayer for the gamecube: short trash mob to the boss with (again) a simple objective that requires a lot of chaotic gameplay to get the boss down.

As far as MMO's, I have played many. I do like encounters like COH's Giant Monsters (like Lusca) and Guild Wars' end fights (Shiro and Abaddon, and some of the GWEN dungeons); I do like the fact that all players get a reward in the end for both games, but I am more interested in the fight than any loot (I raided in WoW solely for the fight and passed on much of the loot). I have played WoW's lvl 60 raid content and some of the 70 before quitting, but I think that game is centered too much on the greedy playstyle and don't care much for the community there. Also, the thought of aggro is a bit too drawn out for me; Boss: "I am going to continue hitting this tank even though he is just being healed and I am being damaged by the other 39 people around me."

I have played heavily through COH, WOW, GW, and currently playing TR. I have tried EQ2, Lineage II, LOTRO, MapleStory, Dungeon Runners, Exteel, and a lot of other f2p mmos, so if I missed something in any of those, please tell me, but I haven't really been impressed by any of them. I don't like point'n'click movement (since I like running while activating skills). Also, I prefer something without the "free" aftertaste of F2P models (if you know what I mean).

I am looking at The Chronicles of Spellborn because I like their art style and what they have talked about so far in their dev logs, but I don't know how they are really going to handle encounters (and still waiting for them to announce a US publisher).

So ya, if anybody has any suggestions, I am looking for dynamic encounters requiring fancy footwork and skill from a group of people (not necessarily raid; i just like playing with people) with a hint of 'random', server-generated fate.

Thanks!
