Well as the nge is doing wonderfully well i would like to see some screen shots of how busy or not busy your server is: try to get shots of the citys, cantina's, starports,pvp zones anywhere you would most likely see a high traffic area.
lets see how empty the servers really are, not sure if the grouping tools works yet but some screen shots from that would be great!

Even if the pictures provided should show 10,000 players on the screen, what would it prove? Would you then want to play?
I don't play because I do not believe the game is worth $15 a month. It is not about popularity, I think. It is about fun, respecting the players, and providing a premium service for a premium fee. SWG does not deliver, in my opinion, and it is why I no longer play.
What do you want to see in a screen capture? You will always have the Obraiks that can muster 20 or so people to show a population. This does not change the condition of the game nor does it make it popular. It simply is what it is.
The game is in maintenance mode. Anyone who cannot admit this does not have a very deep understanding of business. The dev team has found a recipe that appears to deliver content. It is a minimum effort that shows the team for what it is. The game is going nowhere. It will marginally improve, or it might get a little worse.
SOE settled on the worst possible iteration of SWG to finally stop changing the core game. It is a shame because these instances and possibly even Restuss might have been fun under a previous core.

seeing pictures of it saves me from paying 9 pounds to take a screenie and may prevent others tempted to play from wasting there money also, im just asking for those who are able to take screenie's to do so.

New "grouping tool" goes live next publish and apparently will allow a server wide search of all logged in players, time to download the vet trial methinks

You can take a look around on the trial version, Xacova, if you like. I think the address is tryswg.com. You will find people on six servers, but the others will be hit and miss. The six that have populations will not be as many as what you might remember from the old days and the players will not be in the usual spots.
The game is not experiencing growth nor is it dying. It just simply is what it is. The core playing now will not be replaced when they leave. This is why even with trials and such, the overall population continues to decline. SWG does not have the ability to attract new players because the game play and quality are too low. What is said in the "disgruntled" or the "current" forums won't change this fact. It is wholly on SOE to deliver a premium service, and they do not.

Sign up for a new player trial and suffer through the first 5 levels then you can take pictures to your heart's content.
