We took a poll, asking several questions. I thought the answers so far are pretty interesting. Here is a sample of some (not all) of the poll results:
- 92.68% said the thing the were most looking forward to in WAR is the PvP/RvR
- 80.49% said the RvR they are most interested in is Open World (Battlefield Objectives/Skirmishes)
- 48.78% said that they would be the only one playing WAR in their household, . . . but . .
- 46.34% said there would be multiple players in their household (playing on the same account)
- 73.17% said they would not like to see WAR on consoles . . but . .
- 23.39% said they would like to see WAR on consoles, but only if console players got their own servers
- 39.02% said WAR should have Official Forums . . . but . .
- 39.02% said WAR doesn't need Official Forums

That poll on the site you posted the link to has some good questions, too bad it only has (at time of this post) 41 responses. It would be nice if the survey was linked to more fansites in order to get a better view of everyone's opinions (which maybe this thread will encourage others to go over there and join in order to fill it out).

I ask 3 of my friends in RL and they all say they would play WAR with PvE servers only.
So, 100% of my survey request PvE server. :P

i actualy just noticed it says "its NOT to late" i thought it said its to late !
so i take back what i said. Still tho it wasnt a flame way to over react good lucky being a community manager on your war site with that attitude.

Silly, if they don't think they need it they don't need to visit them.
Not that these polls are biased or anything. The ironic part is that you asked forum posters if they thought they needed forums and they said no.
When the customers can't find a place to post about problems or go look for game information from an official source they'll be irritated and worse, quit because they can't find the community. Some random fan site is hardly a support mechanism and the "community" is almost always insular.

Frankly Geriden I can understand why he would think you were automatically flaming. You've trolled these forums before. Anything flawed that shows up with WAR you seem to jump on. Especially the no official forums debate, of course. Say good things once in a while and we might think you don't flame.
Kinda agree with that statistic/bikini comment.
Edit: Celestian, there's like a 32-page thread on WAR not having official forums. We've been through this already! lol.

Ill playing WAR for all aspects of the game. Ill only be making 3 charaters at start so i can give them full attention.
War should put in forums, as long asthe content is tastefull and not childish.
Played : WOW, LOTRO, COH/COV, EQ2, SWG, and WAR.
Playing EVE Online and AOC.

Well far as the subject of should they or should they not have official forums....I would say from having watched the Vanguard debacle...where there were NO official forums...ai yi yi.
Best to have official forums, that way those that feel they desperately need them can go there to rant and what not lol.
Me I'll be too busy playing Warhammer...without a doubt!!

Sorry - am i reading it wrong or is this survey only based on the opinions of about 40 people?
It makes it kinda redundant really... considering the number of sold out preorders alone.

I think there should be official forums to, just because i can't think of a good reason not to and plenty of reason why they should.
Great..a poll with 45 votes from a community that most likely has mostly similar views....sorry but this poll is useless as far as determining anything regarding how people percieve the game or how WAR will be recieved by fans.
