Final High Elf Career?

Looks like White Lion it is! I'm not sure if this has been shown yet, or how official you can call this, but I found this paragraph from the Warhammer website about the cinematic trailer.

 

"As you can see from the storyboards, we took another crack at the action, this time featuring a Dark Elf Sorceress (female character, check! Magic, check!) and High Elf White Lion (Cool warrior class, check!). All looked pretty good, except we went a bit too far by giving the White Lion a cool new ability – the Lion’s Roar - that we could not guarantee would be in the game (or guarantee Games Workshop would approve) So we scratched that battle and finally settled on the Witch Elf vs. Mage pairing." - warhammeronline.com

It said the ability "Lions Roar", isn't guaranteed to be in game, not the White Lion class *if I'm reading it right).

That is what we've figured.  The goodies needed their pet class.

Yeah, It's been speculated for a while that white lion would be the last class. However, theres still be no official word.

The White Lions of Chrace are an excellent class for high elves if it is the class.

Some forum said that Mythic was planning on putting a pet class for the Oder side and the White Lion is the only one I can think of (don't know much Warhammer lore). Then again, it was posted in a forum and you know how much those can be trusted.

Huh,  I'll have to check but I don't remember White Lions having pets.  If they do it will be interesting to see how they combine it with the IP.  White Lions would be a fun class to play. Similar to the sword masters but lighter armor and more devistating attacks.

I think its because of the whole partnership between the Elves and the White lions (animal) but I could be wrong, like I said I know little warhammer lore.

This link will take you to a White Lion only forum. Talks about speculation about the class, what weapons it will use, how it will look and how you might be able to make your lion more custom.

 

The people who think the White Lion won't have a lion... Common. 99% chance it is the white lion as the last class and a 95% chance he has a lion as a pet (more like a companion/best friend).

 

Also, in reply to another post: Couldn't the pet class also be dragon princes with their dragons? there are so many careers in Warhammer.

 

I think I'm more excited about the expansion possibilities.

Considering the banner used at a press conference, the information given above, and the newest lore book which states that White Lions sometimes take white lion cubs and raise them as pets.... I'd have to agree that White Lion will be the H.E. melee dps class.

I guess the White Lion class will have a pet.  Mythic found a way to work it in to the IP.

Here is an excerp from the description of Chrace on the Warhammer Online site.

For generations, the White Lions of Chrace have defended Ulthuan and the Phoenix Throne. Only the strongest and most skillful warriors and hunters of the kingdom earn membership in the White Lions. To prove his worth, each initiate must defeat in single combat one of the fierce creatures for whom the unit is named. Sometimes a bond forms between the lion and his master, and they accept one another as equals. For any who stand against these noble warriors of Chrace, it is a deadly combination. 

So it sounds like the White Lion with pet will be the last class.  Not sure I like the fact that they have a pet but oh well.
