i have been a pretty avid gamer for a long time. i'm looking  mainly for games that include alot of quests, crafting of items. also i really would like to find more games that dont have pk/pvp or at least severely limit the pvp function.the few games that i found and have played that i really liked have included things like the chat blocking features(IGGY-what a godsend-LOL) and things like decent banking and storage features, these are things among a few others important 1's , that i have noticed over the years of game playing that make game play easier and way more enjoyable.after all in the case of the chat function who in real life wouldnt enjoy being able to mute someone that annoying someone by just a button click 8) lol.so if you know of any decent games out there that are relatively close to these criteria, please let me know and i will check them out.

here is a small list of some of the 1's i have tried so far:

1.anarchy online= pretty cool.but a little pricey not fond of the pvp/pk features

2.asherons call= not to bad in the crafting part, but again a little pricey

3.dark age of camelot= i liked it , just didnt like the pk/pvp features

4.eve online= nice game

5.everquest= played for over 6 years, but they added waaay to many expansions

6.everquest 2= not 2 bad, just a little confusing

7.knight online= not bad just got bored after awhile

8.silkroad= not a bad game, kind of laggy though

9.world of warcraft= nice game, but pricey and very laggy alot

there are a few others. but i forget them atm. .

sorry for the long post . thnx for any help.

Everquest 2 is a really good game for what you are looking for in my opinion.

But, if you wanted it bit easier to follow, Lord of the Rings Online is a decent game with fairly easy but not too simplified crafting and the whole game is quest driven - grinding really is not a great option in Lotro hehe Much more xp following the quest lines. It is really solo friendly - few quests -*require*- a group (those that do you can come back to later and solo them). All the extras and expansion have been free downloads so far as well.

Good Luck on your hunt !
