Without giving anything away NDA-wise, how's the learning and difficulty curve in WAR?
I've been playing WoW for years and list most people I find it rather.. unchallenging.

unfortunately no one in beta can give away information without breakng the NDA. by stating how it is in general is actually breaking the NDA, and this site does enforce it. not to mention a "difficulty curve" is relative to only that person, what is easy for me, maybe hard for you. so its very subjective.

I'm not in beta but based on what i've seen when comparing the mechanics from Dark of Age Camelot that they are bringing here, but dumbing down, it will be made rather unchallenging. Again this is just my opinion based on what i've read. Most new games are going with the lowest common denominator approach and trying to appeal to the largest audience possible which means dumbing down game mechanics. Age of Conan, and Earthrise are the only two upcoming games I see that seem to be aiming at anything else. Especially after recent Aion leaks make it look like a complete WoW clone.
At least the siege/keep flow will be based on players. Only if the gameplay is largely item/time based instead of skill based then this will simply equate to the side with the most levels and numbers will win most of the conflicts.
It makes me sad to say these things.
Truth be told - beta players know very little about the game that the general public don't know.
They've been pretty smart about how they are running it - its not a case of starting at level 1 and playing the game while reporting bugs.
All the extra we know is skill stats and things like that which are *all* subject to change at the drop of a hat.
That said - i think some classes will be really hard to play, like the healers because they will be required to dps also. Same for some of the ranged dps classes that damage themselves... whereas i think playing a tank class will be easy mode - but that you can get from the class descriptions and a bit of common sense.
