Zomg Questions!

in Aion

so looking around MMORPG and i come accross this game like a year ago, looks neat but i was so addicted to wow i wouldent dream of playing another game, now i think im ready for a new game.  but now that i have seen a bunch of the class vids i have  questions!!

1) how soon can you use those sweet wings on your back?!

2) theres PvP right?

3) is this like wow/eq IE, level up max out work on endgame get better weps armor and raid in instances...blah blah,

4) is there player/guild housing?

5) are the zones big and open or are they like TR where you log into a zone?

6)can you hit me a nice link to the story line?

7) where are babys made (if you say my moms house ill stab you in the jaw!)

8)is this going to be like all korean or is there going to be a good amount of US servers? i played a korean game ones and the "US" server was just me and a bunch of french guys...not that it wassent fun but i got tierd of people calling me a le Duche bag!

9) is this the next great MMO?

10) what to you looks like the games biggest fault?

WoW stole 3 years of my life and i want them all back! Oh never mind i'd only waste them...but ill take the 15 minutes from vanguard back Right NOW!

    1) Level 10, once you complete the quest to become Daeva you'll receive your wings. The highest level, after a week of second closed beta testing is 23, and players have a 7 hours per day limit if I recall correctly. That should give you hints about the work required.

     

     

    2) Yes, but not enforced, people who want to PvP will always be able to step into the Abyss, or use a direct rift to go to the opposite race's lands, but those who aren't feeling lucky might pve peacefuly on their areas. However, many rewards are PvP dependant, and many stuff will require you to go to the opposite race's territory in order to kill their NPCs and PCs so you can upgrade your stuff. Check Aion in youtube and order the videos by date if you want to see recent pvp videos, some of them are awesomely massive.

    3) Endgame will be a bit more guid based, there will be some instanced raids, but the most powerful ones will require legions competition since they'll be in persistant world. There are fortress sieges and a lot of PvP content also, such as becoming hero, gear upgrade, etc.

    4) Not yet, devs pointed there will be, tho.

    5) Zones are huge, and beautiful :)

    7) Not in Aion, that's for sure ;)

    8) There will be localizated servers for English, German and French, there will be servers in US and in Europe, NCsoft is an already well stablished company here in our occidental world with offices in Brighton, Austin and, iirc, Montana or OC or something like that lol.

    9) I'm sure looking forward to it, It will start with a loyal playersbase and increase based on the comments and reviews, It's a bit sleeper now, but most of people who have researched a bit are hooked already.

    10) From what we know from beta or the game design? I can't really recall anything that wasn't appealing on the paper, on CBT2 players complain about stupid things, for the most part, cause the game has already a good polish level, but the most annoying to me, personally, would be that quest mobs take long to respawn and that creates chaos at the beggining, im sure it will be fixed tho, but there's nothing really worrysome about this game right now.

    I just wanted to say something about what you put for pvp.  You are not really forced to pvp, but in a way you are forced to put yourself in that dangerious situation.  Monsters in the pvp area offer a greater amount of expiericne than those outside.  Rare items that obviously have great stats can only be bought from a point system that goes up the more players you do end up fighting/killing.

    Not all rare items are only obtainable in PvP only certain series of them, draconic I believe it was.

    i really hope it will be the next great mmorpg and will get more subscrbers even from wow.

    Wow got 2.5 years of my life but i can sure say that it was a game with lots of mistakes from blizzard.

    Lots of useless farming and some imbalances.

    Just hope that Aion wont have much farming and can compete with Wow WotLK,AoC, and warhammer since one of these games seems to be the next great mmorpg.
