Pet Classes Info?

in Age of Conan: Unchained

Trying to find info on the pet classes, aka Necro and Demo, but I am having issues finding any. So if anyone have info on pet classes or videos I would be very thankful.

 

Also, anyone know if the pet classes will be like wow where pets disappear when they get to a certain range, or like in Daoc where they keep going til dead?

    I think they had the bars on low for spells here so it would run smoothly as I have seen them much better.

    Nps m8,I have to admit the pet for the demo does look great in that video and I am sure that class will be my 1st alt .

    If someone had came up to me in 1980 when I was on my Atari 2600 and said we will be playing games with thousands of people at the same time.I guess my response would have been,"but I only have 2 joysticks"

    Granted, the info I know could have changed since they discussed since it's beta, but last I knew, you have no real control over your pets.(at least the necro pets, not sure if it was the same for Demonologist)

    Your pets would just attack and swarm the target you were facing.  I think they might have mentioned a toggle like WoW with the aggressive/defensive/passive stances for them though.

    Demonologists only have 1 pet.  Necromancers get like 8 pet points - crappy pets costing 1 point lets you have 8 of them(little undead scorpions are the 1 point pet), or a pair of 4 point pets and so on.

    As to whether pets path off and disappear, I have no idea.  There isn't a ton of info on pet special abilities and the better pets really - at least none that I've seen.

    They've mostly showed off the Necro starter pets(the scorpions).  You don't start with 8 pet points btw, you get more as you from what I understand.

    Do you know why they have videos of a Demonoligist with a female/male succubus/demon?  I was under the impression that they only had one pet also, but i've seen both so maybe it is a choice?

    You have direct control over your pets now.

    Different demo pets grand different bonuses and have different damage types.

    I believe they have said when you summons a "pet" you have a chance to summons a male demon or a female not sure if it is random.  Also, I remember it being mentioned that they have slightly different abilities depending upon the sex of the demon you summon.

    One is succubus and one is incubus - they are different pets with different bonuses and skills.

    I wish I could find it, But I did see an official vid of a  demonologist's male pet(incubus?) It was a vid of a mid lvl dungeon run and it had devs(no NDA breaking.)

    Anyways, there was a clip where they showed an emote the pet did, and it had me rofling. I wont go into details but lets just say there was a fair amount of gyrating and innapropriate use of a sword.

    Im sure some of you out there have seen it and may even have a link cause ive been unable to find it again.

    Male demonologists get Succubus (Female equivelant of an incubus)

    Female demonologists get Incubus (Male equivelant of a succubus)



    Both are EXACTLY THE SAME other than graphics and name.
