Epic Places Video Trailer / April Retail Video

Quite a few parts most of you will have seen before.

However, things to look for in this video (briefly appearing)

• Horse Mount speed, rhino animations, mounting a mammoth animation
• Going in the "Stocks" at market place, check the whip marks out on the back;)
• The emotes, another new one shown, warming hands at fireplace
• The stygian woman...the eyes!
• More female characters
• A brief apperance by Vistrix (a raid boss, Dragon)

Personally, I think if people are caught cheating, buying/selling coin etc, those folks should go in the "stocks" for a month and let players actually beat them with whips and after the month, the account is banned.  The gaming world needs to see in-game people getting punished for cheating to keep everyone honest.

Hard to say as they say optimisation is still ongoing, I would think that the final version will be half that.

I would also expect an announcement that they will do a direct download for the finished launch client too (including pre order goodies)

Remember the gamespot  weekend isn't the finish version but its still going to be pretty big.

Shame bluray isnt the standard everywhere could get a client on one disc :P

Yah, i was guessing that because it was using higher graphics than games like WoW, that that might take up a lot of space. Thanks for the response though, also another thing. I was bored one day and i knew you put up videos on youtube, but forgot your name to it, so i googled it and it came to come beta leaker that posted somewhere, can't remember, his name was Acyolte Avery. Just wanted to let you aware.

no no no, i know thats you. It was on another site, and i wasn't sure if the guy was faking your name. He had like descriptions of his time in Beta and such. But thanks for the links, couldn't find them. Another thing, Do you happen to like Sigur Ros? One of your videos has it and im addicted to watching it. Thx,

Oh I like Sigur Ros I used it in that one video, because when making the video, it was mainly to show the landscape off. Sigur Ros got famous more so because that particular track was used by the BBC for the show Planet Earth and the song instantly took as popular in the UK especially at the time. Plus the show Planet Earth was about landscapes and the Earth filmed in HD so I thought it fitting:) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EpiIP-mrdYE

But I edited the lyrics out from the orginal song for the AoC movie.

Thanks for the heads up though.

Best thing I liked about this video was the guy in the 'stock' and the crowd throwing things at him

Yep, I agree. that is why i want them to use the "stocks" as a punishment for cheaters/gold buyers/sellers so the whole server can see/punish the cheaters.  A Romanesque UK game does it, forget which one and it is awesome.
