Seriously though. It's nice to see people who can stay objective these days. While sometimes, a tad bit of bitterness shines through in your posts, at least I can understand it in your case and can even agree to it. If I were a crafter oriented person, I would most likely be angry at FC for the changes they did as well.

Seriously, though, I have no issue with people who are skeptical and want to try it out for themselves or who choose to remain level-headed and not go hype crazy but that don't randomly bash for opinions conjured up and repeated over in their minds so much the person starts to believe it fact.
But that guy, who just posted what he did, with the title he did, about a tech test...that was a complete and utter waste of a testing spot, in my opinion. Hey, if he/she doesn't have the perspective to have any idea what he was invited for and what their part in the testing was and just looked at it as "oooh, I get a chance to play the game!!!11!!"...hey, I guess it's their right to post that on a message forum to be mocked. *shrug*

Hey now, I've been behaving on the AoC forums for a bit now.
I had to take the cheap shot at the in-game ring thing. It was too easy after all the posts about how much better AoC was than WAR because AoC didn't use in-game item gimmicks to sell boxes. I still find those posts very funny.
All games use in-game item gimmicks to sell merchandise and copies. Heck, even single player games do that for pre-ordering.

Oh, and ya, you can pick on me. Us fence sitters are up high for all to see. Not good in a PvP environment, but all is good. No perma death or full looting around these parts (unless of course you really upset a forum mod).

Pardon me but calling it BS once would be enough. And if this was a moderate response from a neutral party I cannot wait to see the amount of fire and brimstone spewed when the game goes live.
Game should have gone gold in a few weeks time, not long to go now.

Actually the equivalent of what the OP did was looking on a cubist painting and claiming that it was the worst landscape photo he'd ever seen. It just doesn't make sense if you try to look at it objectively.

That's pretty much a given for all games released. I don't see people making an exception for AoC. In fact, I can guarantee you that people that have never played it will come here to bash it. No game was spared this, no matter how successful.

The person I was referring to deliberately broke the NDA, not once, but twice with this very first and second posts ever here on MMORPG.com in two different forum areas with the exact same posts against AoC's Technical Beta. Then, the said person continued to break the AoC NDA again in attempts to defend himself.

I will trade you my bashing for your condescending attitude and that would make us even? Not really since I don't consider my post bashing, matter of perspective probably.
NDA breaks aren't on you to enforce with vigilante posts, or did I miss something? As before I think all the replies were over the top, and yours especially so since you claim fence sitting.
That being said I am not incliend to argue the point. I am looking forward to Hindenburg syndrom on these forums after the weekend, hopefully I can get some usueful info instead of the game hype.
