My CPU

I'm a little concerned about my CPU after seeing the min system requirements, which is 3ghz P4.

 

I have an AMD athlon 64 3500+ 2.25 ghz, does this mean I won't be able to play? and if so what should I upgrade too, I browsed newegg and couldnt find an AMD 3ghz or better.

You should be fine, your processor is equal to a P4 3.5 ghz.  Well not fine as in you'll soar by, but you exceed the minimum reqs just barely.

I plan to build a new comp but not for a few months so this will just need to get me by for a little while.

Currently have a socket 939?  If so, I had one for the last few years and I just got rid of it.  I ended up switching to Intel, and got an E8400, really good for the price if you can find one in stock somewhere.

hey, do u think my pentium 4 3ghz and 3.5gb RAM, Nvidia Geforce 8800GT 512 mb will run it ok?  not looking for max specs, just medium

I am in the same boat as you, just with AMD products. I have tested it at the two mjaor referral sites (system requirements lab and I forget the other) and I tested about halfway between recommended and minimum. We should be okay but we will not know until launch for sure.

definately, im gonna add ram to my PC and hopefully that will help.  But im only looking for decent quality, not max
