What to do now?

I really want to dive into a new MMO and im exploring all my options but nothing really jumps out and grabs me, so maybe some people who have played some games more throughly can give me an idea of what you liked and what?

Im coming from WoW where I was a 2k+ arena player and really felt like I saw all the game had to offer for PvP, 4 battlegrounds, 3 arenas, and me in full vengeful and epic flyer exaulted with pretty much everything. I love PvP so im looking for a game that is much more geared around PvP (or atleast has more depth to the PvP in it)

I also really want something that isnt terribly time consuming, My fav MMO ever was Planetside, but its dead now, I also love Lineage 2 but its WAAAAY too time consuming.

I really just am tired of the grind, I want to log in, have some fun and log out, i'm in college so the amount of time I can devote to farming/leveling is somewhat limited.

Anyway so Eve really caught my eye because it "seems" to be pretty PvP oriented, and have alot of depth to the game play. At the same time it doesnt look very time consuming, im hearing there isnt really leveling and you just train up skills never really needing to play. That sounds ok to me.

Only other thing im doing is waiting on AoC, TR grabbed me a bit but It felt glunky and un-natural the gameplay wasnt smooth at all, in the end I just couldnt get into it.

I tried RFO I actually enjoyed it alot, it was great for a F2P game, but in the end it was very time consuming and I hate race vs race PvP (belatto were fun but stupid little kids mostly xD )

Anyway someone give me a hand, wtf should I devote my time to now is Eve a good choice or is it more time consuming then it appears? What else is out there and interesting?

Pretty weird you didn't even mention Guild Wars there. You say you look PvP, I don't know if that also includes GvG, but Guild Wars has pretty good PvP system. I don't think it's time consuming. You don't need to grind, because the maximum level is 20, it's basicly all about the skills and tactics in the PvP modes. I really enjoy Guild Wars, but I don't know if you will.

EVE Online is a good choice for PvP, especially if you don't have a lot of time. All the skills in EVE Online are learned over time regardless of whether or not you're logged in... So your character can grow and learn skills without you having to actively spend vast amounts of time playing. If you get into a good PvP corporation, you should have some good times, I think. Just make sure you pick something to specialize in so you can become useful in PvP in a minimal amount of time.

Also, Warhammer 40k is going to have pretty heavy-duty PvP, I think... Don't quote me on it. I think it got pushed back, but I honestly haven't been paying attention to it.

Look for some games that have free trials such as CoH/V or possibly LotRO if it's doing trials right now...  I know CoH has PvP areas where players from either side can roam freely and fight if they feel inclined.

    Good luck with your search.
