World of the MMO's

Well at the past year(2007), we could see a lot of mmorpg coming out, although most of they crap, this year(2008) theres seens to be coming really low compared to 2007, but the quality of the games are really ways better and some games has its uniques features, i think 2008 will be a revolution to the world of mmorp's, with games that can actually beat the old school(eve, wow, gw etc) tell me what u think.

Better and unique in what ways?

    Revolution to MMO's....how so?

    Pretty vague on your points.

(WoW, GW and EVE...Old School?!?!? No EQ, AC, UO and DAoC are "old school")

I don't see anything of much interest this year. AoC and Warhammer is all, but I don't think they're going to be as amazing as people think. Next year appears to have a lot more interesting activity, in my opinion. I'm waiting for Champions Online and Mortal Online, both slated for 2009 release.

Also, yeah, those games you listed aren't oldschool in any way, shape or form.

The only MMO I'm really looking forward to this year is Aion. Age of Conan and Warhammer have lost my interest to be honest. Plus, it seems like it's going to be a mass movement towards the two, which I don't want to get caught up in.

I just hope for the masses' sake that AoC and War aren't rubbish.

I have a problem with AION: I don't like korean grinders. If Aion is slighty like a korean grinder, I will hate it. It is?

Time and again it has been said that Aion is not a grinder...

    Darkfall

Don't be terrorized! You're more likely to die of a car accident, drowning, fire, or murder! More people die every year from prescription drugs than terrorism LOL!

JG:E is coming out soon and although it is not a new game it will be new to some people.  SciFi twitch based space sim.

AoC will be out in may - mounted combat, player city sieges, blood and gore, mature rating, nudity, finishing moves, new combat system.

WAR will be out soon - personalizing your armor is all i can think of that is semi new with this game.

Darkfall will be out soon - darkfall is coming - darkfall is coming - darfall...

    Earthrise is out in 2009

APB will be out in 2009

Hopefully we'll get more details on warhammer 40k, the Bioware MMO, the new blizzard MMO, the bethesda MMO, fallen earth and citadel of sorcery

I agree the future looks bright

14 days to reach level 32 out of 50 is beta record (10 hours per day aprox), if that's what you're wondering about :)
