My wishlist for CO

nennafirnennafir Member UncommonPosts: 313

(1) First and foremost, please make it casual-friendly like CoX.  I have a hard time thinking of the Cryptic devs  suddenly going Jekyll and Hyde on us, but I thought I should say this first.  Make it friendly for soloing *and* grouping, as CoX did so wonderfully.

(2) Have lots of character customization options.

(3) Don't be exactly CoX.  CoX is a great game but its already out there (my fav mmo ever but getting old now and I quit a few months back.)  Learn from it but create a new game with new ideas and new mechanics.

That's it really.  I think CO has the potential to be a very fun game.  I'm looking forward to seeing what Cryptic comes up with.

I hope they decide to have real pvp rvr in the game...

And please include Force Fields like Cox

    Cops and Robbers PvP.

    Villains commit crimes.

    Heroes try to stop them.

More variety of mobs and unique quests. CoX had to many generic mobs and missions. I still loved the game just would like to see more uniqueness to it.

    On top of my wishlist:

*Powers* that are truely customizable in that we are not forced to slot *fixed enhancements*.

What I'd rather like to see is aspects in each power that we can boost to our preferences.

Be it truely craftable enhancements like e.g. I want +ACC +RECHARGE +RANGE in one enhancement

    .. or

a system that works like the *Stanzas* in Saga of Ryzom, allowing players to assign multiple aspects to a power that need to be offset via *credits*.

These *stanzas* can be changed whenever it's needed, though more powerful aspects require a higher lvl or need to be unlocked via special tasks.

Skilled based point system not class lvling.

Customization for character builds with looks and powers.

    Meaningful pvp and rvr.

Open world with light based instances.

    Interesting questlines.

    Controllable player zones.
