The graphics are amazing and the animations are amazing as well too. Too bad they cant do that without hogging all your system resources, i get the same quality of graphics as Guiid wars but my cpu temperature was going off the roof, i dont think i will buy this game with this kind of system requirements, they have to knock it down a notch...

Combat is much more fast pace than wow is and its better done but after 10 minutes i was like meh.... what i love is you cant be stunlocked then feared and then feared again and stunned and then dead like stupid wow.

It also has too many issues to work with for a game that is going to be released in several weeks , i hope thay can work it out by then but i decided to wait 3-4 months after release to buy this game.

But by how much? Enough to make a substantial difference? Doubt it.

    --------------------------------------
A human and an Elf get captured by Skaven. The rat-men are getting ready to shoot the first hostage with Dwarf-made guns when he yells, "Earthquake!" The naturally nervous Skaven run and hide from the imaginary threat. He escapes. The Skaven regroup and bring out the Elf. Being very smart, the Elf has figured out what to do. When the Skaven get ready to shoot, the Elf, in order to scare them, yells, "Fire!"

    Order of the White Border.

Alot of the low fps issues are because of the amount of debug stuff that is running along with the game. The developers even said there was alot of debug and file logging going on.

Once the retail client hits alot of the low fps and max cpu useages will start to die off as the client will not be bloated with alot of extra tracking stuff.

I would like to hear of these too many issues. As there are only 4 or 5 known issues right now with the pvp weekend client. One is a known memory leak with the pvp client that has been fixed in the beta client version. The rangers being overpowered (this is already being addressed).  There is a disconnect issue where skype will cause you to get disconnected ingame (something that is being looked into).  Character hair styles not having there high rez texture versions (already fixed in the latest beta client).

Some things cant be fixed (such as if your computer does not meet ALL of the min requirements atleast) you will then get poor fps ingame.

LMAO.. sorry couldnt help laughing when I read this because that was the the same thing a few peeps said about Vanguard during beta. Not trying to say anything I just had to laugh.

I am hoping the lag issues are part of this, I havent gotten into the game yet so I am not sure just how bad it is. I match the recomended spec's except for processor that matches min spec so I am kinda worried about it but I wont know for sure till I get into the game.

Out of every 100 men, 10 should not be there,
80 are nothing but targets, 9 are the real fighters.
Ah, but one, ONE of them is a warrior,
and he will bring the others home.

This game doesnt have anywhere near the same performance issues as vanguard.

I personally haven't really noticed the FPS issues.  I get a steady 64-65 fps in the pvp lobby and 32-35 fps during PvP all on high with a res of 1600x1050

    My system specs are:

Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0 ghz (factory speed)

    4 gigs gskill pc 8000 DDR2

    8800 gts 512

    Vista 64 home premium

lol he plays a couple instanced battlegrounds and the linear  single player start of the game and compares it to the vanguard for performance to funny , i should hope it dosent have any performance issues under those circumstances

Considering there's 15k people crammed into those few areas, I think he's well justified in comparing the performance to Vanguard as an example of AoC being better...

Good game, but does anyone know how the instanced battlegrounds are going to work in the retail version?  Is it going to be like wow where you talk to someone and then get ported to a battlefield or Is this just a kind of a test of the PvP element?
