How did you find the Gore / Blood / Fatalities??

So then, those that played over the weekend...
1. Did you think the blood was too much in general combat?
2. What Fatalities did you experience or see? Did you like these? were they too frequent? or too rare?
3. Did the blood bother you? Did it add to the darkness of the game?
4. Do you think that over the past 6 months all those people worried about the blood being too much were right in their concerns?

I liked the blood and gore, just too bad the nipples were not in this yet lol. The one fatalitie that I usualy did was the one when I pushed the enemy down and stab him through his body and blood squirts out on my screen, I started laughing when I first saw that and thought it was very cool. Although most of the time I didnt even try to do those on purpose. And I also cut off a head once.
You get a better chance to pull a fatality off if you perform a combo to kill the monster / person

hard to imagine why people are so desensitized to violence....
no, the blood in the videos was over the top sometimes but when your playing you hardly notice it, the fatalities are awesome when they go off but i think there to rare although i saw some awesome ones
in pvp there are even cooler if you actually have time to appreciate the nice animations on them.

In all things balance, its the principal of the universe, too much violence, not enough compassion, itll eat us alive eventually with that kinda attitude. Its rather like saying well the Earth is going to end someday so why worry about pollution....
I though the gore and fatalities were well done and not overdone. The only time you get much blood is whne you do a fatality, and thats not all the time.
One time I had a fatality while using the broken oar...knocked the guy down and speared him in the nads with the jagged end. Oi! Thats gotta hurt.
Generally very pleased with the game. It even runs over 40 fps on my three year old system.

All I am saying is that the violence like blood and gore are great effects like lighting in AoC for some people to look at. I dont like violence in real life.
The fatalities are gratifying in PvP, and funny when they happen to me. I like 'em.
The blood splatter on screen effect is nice as well.

2) I can't remember what they were called, but they all involved me putting my sword through someone so it was fun. I think one (Ranger) was where I put my sword in the guy's throat, then brushed him off with my shield.
3) Nope, didn't bother me at all.
4) Personally, no, but some people schitz out at the first sight of blood so I can see where it might bother people who are actively looking for it. There should be a filter for that, though.
