Solution: Get Comrade. Ya, I dont like using stupid crap like that, but I left it open and turned my speakers up real loud. Then, when the chime when I got an IM went off, I went in and sure enough they opened up more keys. I clicked the link and BAM. There was my key. Try it, it works.
Reposting this for those that haven't seen amid the flames. This is the best way to get the keys the instant they are up without having to sit at the pc if you do not want to.

2. With all the people complaining about subscribing and only getting a chance to receive a key, I think something needs to be said. THEY ARE GIVING THE KEYS OUT AT DIFFERENT TIMES EACH DAY, IN ORDER TO LET PEOPLE IN DIFFERENT TIME ZONES WITH DIFFERENT SCHEDULES GET A CHANGE TO JOIN. They are giving keys out through the 31st, so I think everyone needs to calm down.
I highly recommend everyone to download Comrade and use that to stay aware of the distribution of the keys.

Hmm 8 bucks is half a good drink at a bar, a movie ticket, dinner at Arby's, a quarter of a nice dinner, and is about 57 cents a day. I don't think that makes me a sucker at all.

Ok I stand corrected then you have to pay 7.95 for a 2 week beta. Thats the same rate as the game will charge for the retail version. If you want to know if your pc will run the game you could have either done what i did which was do the pvp beta or do 20 mins worth of research and read some reviews.

You NEED to download their comrade mod. If you download it and keep it running in the background, you will get notices 3-4 hours before the regular email crowd. Instead of having a .0002 second window to get in, it expands your window to about 15 minutes.

I think the beta giveaway is fine. Subscribing to fileplanet is worth it imho. And get comrade too, you get notified as soon as the beta keys are released, so you dont have to keep checking emails.

I am not on a mission here, and I already said that you should look into his post history and see that in the last 60 minutes he trolled every topic on AoC there is. Fileplanet you really suck. I was a member years ago and have never really used any service like fileplanet on a paid basis, but a few months back I read several places talking about the fact fileplanet would more than likely have AOC keys before anyone else for their founders club members.
So I go to the site read all this fluff about the founders club, and stupidly sign up. Once signed up I realize almost all the stuff on the founders club site talks about all you will get, but then once you join there is nothing there. Oh, sorry there are some "free" old downloads for games most of us bought a year ago GREAT VALUE GUYS! Oh, and the "free: subscriptions to your mags, so the higher circulation gets you more advertising revenue, man way to really push the boundaries.
Now I see a few days ago I get an email saying the NEXT week you will start the beta key giveaway, today am I blown away to come home and find an email that it already started. WOW next week usually means NEXT week. Of course the keys are gone three hours later. Then I sit on the computer hitting refresh for 2 hours and I have a feeling at 10pm CST the will release a new batch. From 10pm CST to 10:05 it still says coming soon on second beta key set, then at !0:06 it says distributed - BULL S--T! How da-- stupid do you think we are? In 30 seconds the keys are all gone again. Its funny how people react to Fileplanets use of "artistic licence" with regards to their Beta key adverts as if its something new.
Fileplanet have been doing this for years. It happened in Vanguard,it will happen again. They prey on people's desires. Is it Funcoms fault? Nope. Is it fileplanet's fault if they deliberately mis-word adverts. Absolutely. Should the MMO developers do something about it? If they can it would give them good publicity. Will they? Probably not, because it's not their jurisdiction to dictate to another company how it advertises its offers.
But, when all is said and done, they DO give away these Beta keys to their subscribers. People do actually get them. If people don't like what they see or get, then vote with your wallet.

I did not respond to that particular posts but about posts he makes in general and if you actually read more then 2 threads here you would see I am not the only one trying to stop his self destructing behavior.I am sorry I guess trying to remove trolls from these forums is not as widely accepted as I thought it is. If you think about it that is all anyone does when they play an MMORPG. These games are always changing throughout their product life and that is basically like playing to perpetually beta basically.

Fileplanet you really suck. I was a member years ago and have never really used any service like fileplanet on a paid basis, but a few months back I read several places talking about the fact fileplanet would more than likely have AOC keys before anyone else for their founders club members.
GREAT VALUE GUYS! Oh, and the "free: subscriptions to your mags, so the higher circulation gets you more advertising revenue, man way to really push the boundaries.
So I go to the site read all this fluff about the founders club, and stupidly sign up. Once signed up I realize almost all the stuff on the founders club site talks about all you will get, but then once you join there is nothing there. Oh, sorry there are some "free" old downloads for games most of us bought a year ago
Now I see a few days ago I get an email saying the NEXT week you will start the beta key giveaway, today am I blown away to come home and find an email that it already started. WOW next week usually means NEXT week. Of course the keys are gone three hours later. Then I sit on the computer hitting refresh for 2 hours and I have a feeling at 10pm CST the will release a new batch. From 10pm CST to 10:05 it still says coming soon on second beta key set, then at !0:06 it says distributed - BULL S--T! How da-- stupid do you think we are? In 30 seconds the keys are all gone again. I mean I was hitting the key at this point ever 30 seconds. So now that all your sorry ass friends have their keys and your pathetic staff, that will no doubt be selling the keys they stole, when will the REAL beta giveaway begin for us normal folks? OH yea, IT WON'T because this is all some sorry ass lame scam to trick people into becoming members. Expect a complaint to the BBB on your sorry scam ass business practices. I WILL NEVER have anything to do with IGN again. YOU PEOPLE SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
FYI - When I went to cancel my new year membership, yea who gives a sh-- about losing the remaining months as it is apparent it is worth a da--, the first screen says oh we are so sorry to lose you as a customer tell us if there is a problem. Its funny how people react to Fileplanets use of "artistic licence" with regards to their Beta key adverts as if its something new.
Fileplanet have been doing this for years. It happened in Vanguard,it will happen again. They prey on people's desires. Is it Funcoms fault? Nope. Is it fileplanet's fault if they deliberately mis-word adverts. Absolutely. Should the MMO developers do something about it? If they can it would give them good publicity. Will they? Probably not, because it's not their jurisdiction to dictate to another company how it advertises its offers.
But, when all is said and done, they DO give away these Beta keys to their subscribers. People do actually get them. If people don't like what they see or get, then vote with your wallet.
Btw....pay for everything you pay for online with your credit card, protection and chargebacks are your friend

I have subscribed to fileplanet for several years, I have gotten into plenty of their betas, and enjoyed the fast downloads.
I got my AOC key day one, downloaded the 12 gigs in about 4 hours and am set up and ready to go into stasis till the 1st to play AOC
