Installation errors? rdbdata filesize is incorrect

in Age of Conan: Unchained

Just installed, but got an error message that 20.rdbdata filesize is incorrect.



Anyone else have this problem?

    I got that message when I shut down data-en.exe from the Windows Task Manager on accident while shutting some other things down.  I started the install over and was fine.  If you get this message after the install is complete, I don't know what to tell you.  Maybe try installing again.

    try going into your AoC folder, usually /c: > program files > Funcom > AoC

    find the "SimpleConfig" .exe, click it. then click on "Verify/Repair..." then check "Verify Data Integrity" and begin.

    that should help any problems with initial startup.

    Gah, I think I need to re-download.  Tried to reinstall but got the same message.

    If I look in my RDB directory, 20.rdbdata file is only 280,090 KB in size.  The other 22 rdbdata files are all exactly 1,048,576KB.

    I tried a repair function but it seemd to do nothing.

    Yeah, my 20.rdbdata file is 1,048,576 kb
