I hope you enjoy your 22 inch LCD monitor. I got a 19 inch monitor and I really love it. It's not to big(although a bit bigger would be perfect) and it isn't to small either. Having a big monitor offers you many advantages when playing games, especially FPS like Counter Strike, Call of Duty,... Then everything looks bigger so it's way easier to notice an enemy walking by. A big moniter has it's downside aswell, when playing bad games on graphical field, you will see every single pixel and that really starts annoying.
I only have a 17" (1280x1024 maximum resolution). Before that I had a 15" whose maximum resolution was 1024x768. Got this one several years ago because I needed more screenspace to view and manipulate images; I haven't really thought about the positive impact a larger screen would have on immersion...
By now I'm needing more screenspace again, but a larger monitor won't fit on my desk. xD
By the way, this thread probably belongs in Off-Topic Discussion.

I dusted the mothballs off the credit card last night and bought a 22" monitor! LOVE IT! Now when I play I REALLY feel immersed in the game. Feel free to talk about how much bigger your monitor is so long as you also post how it feels. LOL!
Is it widescreen Jirel? Anyway...congrats! Having a big screen makes these games really come to life. Enjoy!
Mine is 9 inch.....oh wait sorry my COMPUTER MONITOR is 30inches.
It does feel good to play with such a crisp screen tho.
Another great example of Moore's Law. Give people access to that much space (developers and users alike) and they'll find uses for it that you can never imagine. "640K ought to be enough for anybody" - Bill Gates 1981
OHH-RAHH!! I have a 40 inch HD LCD samsung that runs both my Desktop, cable , and Xbox360. I love them and recommend them for pc games! (if you can afford them).
Played : WOW, LOTRO, COH/COV, EQ2, SWG, and WAR. Playing EVE Online and AOC. Wtg for SW:TOR and WOD

My monitor got kicked and the colors are messed up so i've been thinking about a new 22'' probably a samsung.
