my brothe wants to buy a new lap top

question my brother wants to buy a gaming lap top ( hes a paramedic so he has downtime alot between jobs)

i told him alienware. what would be a good system for $2500 max. provide links pls.  fyi *he kinda dislikes dell personally.

3.4ghz Phenom II X4 965, 8GB PC12800 DDR3 GSKILL, EVGA 560GTX 2GB OC, 640GB HD SATA II, BFG 1000WATT PSU. MSI NF980-G65 TRI-SLI MOBO.

    up to $2500. i helped him put together a customized system  for $2649. which is decent.
