All the "old vets" claiming that a great game is based on PvP style and rules while the most subscribed to games on the market aren't set up this way.
Argue all you want vetran elites - your era is dead. Just keep dreaming about Darkfall (that will never release) and keep your worthless opinions to yourself.

As to the OP - there will be FFA servers and PvE servers. On both types the cities will not allow PvP - think Shatrath (not guards that get alerted) - no PvP in cities period (except for duels called drunken brawling).
On PvE servers there will be mini games like battlegrounds and whole PvP zones (Borderlands) that PvP is capable in. There will not be factions - kill who you want to. I believe that you are unable to kill a guildmate or party mate as well.
Hope that helps some. I'm off so that the 60 year old vet pvp masters can come and flame away.
    edited for spelling.
lol ur funny, btw darkfall is vaporware i dont care about that, and yes most of the true pvp games are coming to a halt because of the new breed of cry baby players, seems this day and age the only type of real pvp i can get is from playing CoD 4, or going to my muay thai gym and getting my ass kicked irl.

That still doesnt mean i wont try it though, but from the new announcement they just made about having to play CTF just to be in que to siege someone is retarded, whatever happend to the good ole "Meet us at this location you sons of B!@# and our guild will destroy your's", actually i know what happend. The genre got popular and in doing so got little kids to play it. Which ruined it.
