Questions about levels 20-80

I am an avid MMO player and have played almost all of them. Currently, I am playing LOTRO and am loving it. I am a lifetime member of LOTRO (so no monthly fees!) but I am being attracted to Conan because it is (i) new, (ii) one of my favorite fantasy settings, (iii) new combat engine and (iv) not a WoW or SONY product.

I like to group alot, but because of time limitations I generally am not able to do hard-core raids etc.

What I am wondering, though, is whether this game is primarily a PvP game after level 20 or whether a person could solo or do groups (like WoW, EQ2 and LOTRO) and avoid any PvP stuff.   Or are post-level-20 exclusively PvP stuff with solo content being minimal?

Are there going to be PvE servers or are they all PvP at all times?

I do like PvP at times, but I wouldn't want to play a game that was entirely based on that (seems that Warhammer is almost all PvP).

The reviews I have read seem to spend most of the time talking about the new combat and the beautiful world. The reviews also suggest that levels 1-20 are exclusively solo and 20-80 are multi-player. However, the reviews don't comment on whether levels 20-80 can be done via solo or in groups (without PvP). Anyone come across anything about what levels 20-80 will be like for those of us that like PvE MMOs?

Thanks.

If you goto the aceofconan site you can find this information out it isnt hidden just click community and all the information in in that area.

To answer your question no it is not an exclusive PVP game. There will be the normal PVE, PVP and PVP-RP server selection or that is what is planned to be.

If you don't pick the all PvP server then the lelvel 20-80 will be MMO. But apprantly Funcom has said there is enough solo quests to get to 80 if you wish, but it will be slower for obvious reasons. If you pick a server that is both PvP and PVE you will be able to play PvP when you wish which includes BK. All this information I got from the site so I don't know if it will change or not, but it doesn't look it.

One of the things which solidified my desire to play was when they announced the PvE/Quest content being solo-able to max level. I usually end up hanging with folks once in a while, especially if I find a decent group of regulars who play when I do but in general I like to solo a lot. I tend to chat (voice or text) while I solo.

I was happy to discover very little loss of FPS (maybe 5-10 average) while chatting with my brother via MSN chat during the PvP weekend. (He wasn't in the PvP). Aside from the music drowning the chat out initially, we were able to talk normally with little or no degradation of service and almost no effect on the game play. (I think I kicked my shader option done to none versus local player and that compensated).

hallo all,I`m new to this forums :).

anyways I had a similar question as the OP,is it possible in age of conan to group with 1 or 2 people to do quests like most of the MMOs?

my apologies if this question has been asked before.

That is a substantial loss in FPS. 1-3 FPS drop would be a little loss.
