squares new mmo

in The Rumor Room

now I dont know if any of you have heard but square is currently developing a new mmo and i got to thinking on what it could possibly be, I also know that there is to be one more ff7 complation game yet to be release and i wonder if the new mmo would take place in midgar. of course this is just a theory what do you guys think?

    No, they were adamant that it won't be FF. There was talk of it being one of the Saga rpgs.

    As of this date, they have neither confirmed nor denied that it will be set in the Final Fantasy series. 

    They have only stated that the XI team was currently in development and the code name is “Rapture.” The placement of the game is still in debate, whether it will be a new Final Fantasy, a continuation of XI, or and entirely new project.

    I think kingdom hearts rinal fantasy or radiata stories would all make sweet mmos
