What is your "taking a MMO break" game?

Well, when I’m not playing rock band (360) I’ve gone back to Evil Genius.  I would go back to Dungeon Keeper, but I lost it years ago.  And I don’t want to buy something that probably won’t run on vista.

I just picked up Bioshock from Gogamer. They had it for about $20. While I never used to like FPS, the last two I have played, FEAR and Half-life, were a lot of fun. Why is it that FPS have all the good sci-fi stuff??

It's easier to implement in Single Player FP format.

Lately I've been playing Dynasty Warriors 6... I don't know what is it about that series that makes me always going back for more. I complement this with playing Morrowind(FP games also have good fantasy ;) ).

I don't need to take a break at the moment...have quite a few MMOs as backup in case I get bored of Anarchy Online.

When I do take a break, however, I usually end up playing Oblivion on my 360. You can't go wrong with Audiosurf, though that's more of a short pop-in and go type game. I also recently picked up Sins of a Solar Empire which I am yet to properly play.

I just picked up The Witcher this weekend. Reminds me of what it is like to actually enjoy a game.

MMORPG's w/ Max level characters: DAoC, SWG, & WoW

    Currently Playing: WAR
Preferred Playstyle: Roleplay/adventurous, in a sandbox game.

Oblivion, Neverwinter Nights 2, and The Witcher are what I've played in the past.

I also play a web based text based turn based strategy game called The Reincarnation(a remake of Archmage).Get a turn every 5 or 7 mins dependong on server with a max of 200 turns at once.So you can only play maybe 15-30 mins a day depending on how many servers you play on.Great fun game tho and very challenging and takes a lot of strategy.Online game where you manage your kingdom and attack other players to take some of their land.Pretty hardcore pvp based game. Not for everyone of course since its slow paced due to the fact you can only play about every 16-24 hours so it's more of a side game you play. Also its all text based and has a steep learnign curve and requires lots of thinking/strategy.Still tho, it can be very addictive and fun and very rewarding when you do well, and very frustrating when you get raped overnight and log in with half your land gone :P Sorry for the shameless advertisement of the game lol, just thought I'd share it as its not very well known.

Too, Too many. Bioshock, S.T.A.L.K.E.R, Rainbow 6 Vegas 2 at the moment.  Once done with the single player ones, going back to the online shooters. Team Fortress 2, Enemy Terrirory: Quake Wars, Call of Duty 4 and Frontlines: Fuel of war. Also playing Condemned 2 and Army of 2 on PS3.  Only usually play one or two of these a day though.

It's usually Civ 3-4, the Fallout series, Caesar 2 to 4/Emperor/Zeus/Pharaoh, Galactic Civilizations 2 or Dawn of War. I just can't stop going back to any of those games.

Well, guess spending time with my girlfriend watching movies and such came first. If she studies or exercise I'll be sitting and play 360.

    Starcraft, Counter-Strike, CoD 4

Oh and the last REAL Rainbow 6 game, Raven Shield.  None of that "Letdown" garbage or the Vegas b.s. that only bears the name Rainbow 6 but is, in fact, not Rainbow 6.  Ghost Recon as well...not that Adv Warfighter crap that, like R6 Vegas, is not Ghost Recon.  Screw you Ubisoft!

Until you cancel your subscription, you are only helping to continue the cycle of mediocrity.

no one go's to gmod for a break, that game's the best when you play online with people who don't act like a**holes.  other than though, TF2 (though i suck badly at that game) CoD4(beastly beast) and last but not least, Oblivion, because that's the best RPG ever made.
