    Hey.

    As far as I know, you dont need a Active Anarchy Online account to enter the beta, or atleast you didnt have to over at MMhell to enter there contest, and Im pretty sure its the same here, but we will await the admin to return with the final word :)

    Ive played AO for about 2 years....theres no other online games like that one....AO rules

    Yes as it's an upgrade key, that's why I'll mail all winners a free trial accnt for 30 days too, that way if they don't have one they can use that to make one and not have to pay anything . It was the easiest solution I could think of ! If they do have an account..well they can give that to a friend :)

    Hope that helps!  Cool thing is it sounds like if you are an existing player you might be able to use your existing chars...who knows ;-)

    And what about the Neocron contest? Is it the same thing? Or do we need an active account? When I saw it last night I didn't really think about and entered (for some reason I was thinking it was a contest for the Face of Mankind, dunno why... futuristic setting + beta + half asleep = Face of Mankind)

    Now that I know that there is a contest for AO I'd rather just drop my entry for the Neocron one. Don't really care about the game that much and I would rather give it someone who would enjoy it.

    Actually BDOY is techinically Neocron 2 - not an expansion after all.  It will be a stand alone product...

    Oh ok, thanks Admin, wanted to make sure I didn't need an active account for either of them. I watched the trailer for Beyond the Dome York off their website, looked like it had alot of potential. Might as well give it a try.

    Sorry to say this, but I think only people who have actively played AO should be allowed in, because they know what it needs/doesn't need. If you want to just try out the game, there's a 7 day trial you can play. I just think the players know what the game needs, and the last thing it needs is a bunch of everquest players getting into beta and telling the devs to make it more like Evercrap.

    I am joining this beta so I can actually win something from this site! Besides I hope I am not cursed from other betas. ::::05:: If it was possible I would trade this account for a WOW account. Oh well I can try out AO this way then.

    I'm really curious about the features

    Orgs build cities and aliens invade your city in 5 wvaes.. 1 alien hunter per player, 1st at your lev getting progressivly harder until all 5 waves are defeated.. you them have 15mins to board the alien mothers ship, find the queen, kill here and plunder what you can before the ship evacs...

    Also introducing new specialty skills. full line of new gear (and 1 thing in AO is, they always got alot of gear.. started with tons, Notum wars added a lot, SL added a hell of a lot..), not to mention FC has always had great tuxture artists. Thats a tricky skill so I got alot of respect for those guys...

    I also hope they include the pet leets with the beta. I wanna play with leet zilla or punk leet... We can make the fight each other in a horrible cruel gerbil-cock fight!.. Yea baby just like pokemon!!... Really how evil is that?... aw crap that thoughts in my head now... oh well off to the "off topic" forums to post a thread there now image

    Oh well I am downloading a trival version anyway. Just a 10 minutes now until the download is done. The four hour and a half download

    I'll bet half the people that won haven't even played AO, so they will have no idea of what kind of feedback to give FC for the game.  Hopefully they aren't EQ fans, or Alien Invasion might go through some unwanted changes.
