How Do I Get Into Open Beta?

I tried doing a forum search, even a web search, and could not find a page that explained it simply enough.  So, I'm posting it here.  Apologies if sudden blindness if causes me to miss the obvious.

Anyway, how do you get into Open Beta?  As far as I can tell you can only get in if you have pre-ordered from a US retailer or are a subscriber to FilePlanet for their beta keys.  Is there any other way?

I'm thinking about subscribing the FilePlanet to try out the game, cause I'm too impatient to wait after release for a trial, if it ever comes.  However, it's unclear to me that just being a FilePlanet member is enough to get a key.  Does anybody know that if I give them my $5 that I will get a key for sure?

Is it the Fileplanet offfer you mean? Then youre to late. (and you didnt automatic get into the beta just for subscription, they were releasing keys every day up till 29th of May that you had to be on time to get)

But I got in and loving the game, actually did a pre-order today.

You would have to find a friend with an account and try on their machine. The keys are gone and it's unlikely they will issue more.
