I'd like to see you back up that statement with more than 2 or 3 items....since as far as I know there's maybe 2 or 3 things they'd talked about in the Design Stages that aren't in.    Let me know if the list is larger otherwise your 'disappointment' attempt is just another of your 'i hate everything let me flame this game secretivly' posts Tikovoo.

... whatever, you can go argue with the article as much as you want, i think it is quite clear as it is, THEY said it, not me, I just report what was and what is and they were two, VERY VERY different beasts, call them as you wish, end of discussion.

    Main topic:

The problem still remains how would the Devs deal with the non-growing races. I mean if they implement the orc growing thing, what about the rest of the races? Is it gonna be for the orcs only? Wouldn't that be a problem with the rest as they feel left out?

Armor and weapons already progress from tier to tier as we have all seen in their screenies and concept art but in the orc case we are talking of something more physical and how you implement that in humans, for example? they grow ... old? or would you get like scars and a "tougher" look?

What about elves where scars would not be very aesthetic? In another web site the suggestion of glowing eyes was given, an interesting one but not very lore-based as no elf in the Warhammer world has ever been depicted with glowing eyes unless when casting magic or under the effect of some magic. Can't be hair... I'm expecting I can choose the length and color of my hair at character creation, beside it is not very visible anyhow.

    Suggestions?

Orcs will grow at launch, especially if we spam various forums over and over with posts similar to  "omfg! Orc Choppas are so imba!!!" then chant "OP OP OP! Fix plz!!!". Orcs will grow very fast... then we'll have whole herds of stinkin' fungus.

I cannot remember the last game I saw that actually released with everything they had mentioned or promised during the design and execution phase, It is probably because I have yet to see any that actually do release everything they talk about.  Don't even whisper WoW, I swear I'll curse your sphincter muscles with an ex-lax hex. This means you... you know who you are!

    Ok, all teasing aside.

Most if not all game designers get excitable and often share early plans and ideas. Through the process they often cut out and incorporate ideas that we never even hear about for various reasons and they also revise initial ideas they have talked about. They don't do it to mess with you, to gain false support, or to just be a pain. More often than not it is done to allow more important aspects to come to the forefront to be attended to, because what had initially been viable in theory turned out to be not as great in practice, or because it flatly didn't work with the direction of the rest of the game as development progressed. They even make unlikely and/or bad decisions sometimes, this also isn't done to slight anyones delicate sensibilities, instead this happens because developers and designers are people too and make mistakes just like any other person does.

The difference is that they pay dearly for the mistakes they make while developing a game. The customers do not. Again, any perceived mistake that a company makes in regards to developing, maintaining, or expanding a game costs the customers absolutely nothing. When we decide to purchase a game and decide after that we don't like it then it is not the fault of the company, it was our choice to purchase and our choice to play, no one made us and if we didn't research it then it still falls into our own laps.

Yet if  they do change or expand in a way we do not like then more often than not we go elsewhere and they stand to lose a lot of revenue.

If you think something could executed better then use the feedback channels that most companies leave open. If you have an idea that you think is good then send it in and the same can be said if there is an idea they have mentioned that you do not like. Tell them, most are willing and eager to read your feedback. And if you still don't like it then don't play it. Vote with your wallet.
