Looking for an MMO with siege warfare and please don't suggest wow for any reason.

    how about DAoC...? Although it is quite a hard game to get into (without joining a large group), the siege warfare is top notch.

    either that or wait for WO, or AOC, which i believe also will have well thought out siege warfare.

    DAOC is the best siege Ive seen. Shadowbane is also a game that has had it

    Both upcoming WAR and AoC will also have some aspect fo Siege..but whether it will be available at launch is still unknown

    WAR siege should be available at launch, and accessible not long after creating your character.

    AoC siege I'm not sure if it will be in at launch, and it won't be accessible till near end game.

    They both have siege weaponry that allows some degree of control, but have static unmovable points where you can only place them. AoC's defensive fortifications are player built, and also at designated locations. WARs defensive fortifications are static and not built in any way.

    AoC's sieges are guild based and will likely need a decent sized guild to participate. I think they also have some sort of point system that you have to beat other competiting guilds on if you want to actually start a siege. And sieges follow an attack schedule determined by the defender. There is a mercenary system that you can use to participate in sieges as a solo unguilded player, but participation is not gaurenteed, as you have to be picked and the guild has to be willing to hire you.

    WAR's sieges are RvR based and can be participated in by anyone, guilded or unguilded, regardless of size. They can be done at any time of day, provided there is enough other players interested in joining you.

    DAOC best siege and pvp ever.

    WAR upcoming game will have it...

    Shadow bane has it , i like class creation g, but graphixs are a tad sad, and character control is god awful. (SB is free now, i like druids and vamp locks).

     

    In a way planetside has seige.

     

    AOC has siege but when you can seige is limited.
