Anyone using this motherboard Asus P5N-D Motherboard - NVIDIA nForce 750i SLI?

If you are I was wondering what you thought of it, seems to have good reviews and a pretty damn good price.

    Looking at the board, its probably not the best pick at $149.  It only has a 1333 mhz FSB which means it won't support the latest processors from Intel.  Also like someone else mentioned in a review, there are compatibility issues with the nVidia North Bridge.  Its actaully pretty typical with nVidia North Bridges to have compatibility issues.  Also the 750i isn't the upper range chipset for its generation so its also gonna show some hardware limitation.

    I would aim at something with a 1600 mhz FSB if you want to use an Intel.  I am still wating for something that has 4000 mhz Hyper Transport FSB on an AMD board to fully utilize the new Phenoms.

    before buying nvidia 7x0 chipset you should do some research.. single forums 27 pages

    all manufacturers. same issue. do not buy nvidia 7x0 chipset if you aint born under lucky star or just dont wish to have troubles later
