Will 4gb help?
I currently have 2gb of RAM running XP, but two empty slots on the motherboard. As RAM is so cheap these days, do you think it would be worth upgrading to 4gb? I've heard that on XP there isn't a great deal of difference in performance....

It depends on what you do. If you are gaming, then it probably won't make a difference.
3.5 gig and you probably wont see anything worth upgrading past 2 gig
