PvE in WAR? Got questions

 Hello all,

I have a few questions about  the game that I need answered. I am on the fence about giving this game a try, it looks good and I am interested in playing it. I am not a favorite of PVP I never liked it, don't care for it.

If I bought this game what can I expect from the PvE side? Are there different realms for PvE or are you together in one realm? Can they kill you if you don't want to PVP? Are there certain zones that are just for PvE? Can someone tell me everything there is to know about PvE in the game?

     Thanks

everyone is together in one realm....Public quests are great  everyone works together..however  The End Game Content is RVR (PVP)  so  you may not enjoy it in that aprt  but ..in each zone there is certain parts of the Zone that are PVP  and some PVE quest casue you too go into those zones...

A goal of the DEVs is to bring people who dont like PVP into a wolrd where PVE is fun  But there is a slow ride  into PVP in an enjoyable way.....

Let me take the reigns on this as someone who's been burned by bad PvP models mixed with PvE.   WAR is built & designed around being able to Siege .. which is an RvR event...BUT ...parts of that event are PvE.   They really want PvP & PvE to work together though you'll benefit best from participating in Both.

The areas are all one big solid area..RvR & PvE areas are all together on 1 map..however if you never want to PvP you can easily avoid the PvP areas of the map and PvE to your hearts content & cancel any quests that take you to the PvP areas.

There's tons for the PvE achiever / explorer type to do.  There's Public Quests massive open world quests that everyone can participate in you don't need a group but everyone essentially is working together since it requires that by the last phase of the quest.    There's standard quests, hidden quests, easter egg quests.  There's TONS of exploration & random boss mobs hidden in areas that are never mentioned by any NPC.  There's Dungeons (all 6 man dungeons) which give really great gear.   You can even unlock quests through your Tome of Knowledge depending on meta game actions.

At end game you'll top off at lvl 40...the only way to progress from there is through RvR ranks(if you've not PvP'd from lvl 1 your rank will be 0 but you can still rank up in the Tier 4 zones)..if you don't wish to do any PvP you simply stay at Rank 0 which is fine...there's still content for the PvErs but at end game its considerably less than the previous Tiers.

The City siege opens up more public quests & PvE quests but you'll have to wait until the PvPers have locked the city down...holding onto an enemy's city lasts up to 12 to 24 hours so you'll have plenty of time to get in on the PvE action that helps to destroy the enemy's city (and delevel that city and leveling your own).   Also if their city is high enough leveled any dungeons & quests they opened up are now available to you.

Since Cities Level there are quests & dungeons and PvE Events that only open up in the City when the city has gained enough points...(they disappear if the city is sacked and loses points).   You won't run out of things to do especially with the Tome of Knowledge which is the end all be all complete Journal that chronicles everything you do, find, and kill.   You'll discover quests in here as well.

You won't be lacking in the PvE department.....but I think you should atleast take a poke at the PvP when you find yourself in a good group.   You'll find games where you always have people on your side to be far better than games where its everyone out for themselves.    I usually avoid PvP like the plague but it was only due to bad Mechanics that turned me off to it.   I'm more of a team type...if I can't trust the people on my team not to turn around and kill me and loot me then .. I won't play..thankfully WAR's not like that..and there's every reason in the world for people of the same faction to work together.

I know my post is kind of rambling...but well I'll blame it on the painkillers!
