Are we even playing the same game?

I've been following the game from the sidelines for a while, reading some bits here and there, but at the same time not paying any real attention to all the overly negative or overly positive comments it often gets. I decided I'll make up my own mind, I wont let anyone else tell me if its good or not.

So I got an open beta key, downloaded, and started the game up.

Amazing. I cant even tell you how long ago I had this much fun in a game. Yes - I do have an absolutely mean rig, but to the people that say the "gameplay is horrible, its only eye-candy", I've got to ask myself, did we play the same game? The gameplay felt astonishing on my part. It was actually really fun to beat on NPCs. I cant say I've ever played an MMO where I can say that.

On top of that, if this is an "old client", I simply cant wait to try the retail one. I encountered practically no bugs, (sure there are some, but there's always bugs.) and enjoyed every single minute of it.

 

Now just to sit back, and wait for the next two weeks to pass, and I for sure know what I'll be playing!
