Do you know how much one of those would cost?
I would check out this site, it will have good pricing and different cards, but the 8800GT is one of the best cards right now. But, just check out the AOC site for the recommended cards, then decide what your money can buy you.

If you have PCI Express you should get the NVidea 8800 at a minimum. There is also a GTS and a GTX. Any of them will work for Conan. The cheapest being $199 or so on newegg I think the name is. the gtx is 249 last i looked with 512 or 720 ram.
Anything below that will probably cause problems. If you are running vista you will want to upgrade your ram if you can.
Well I suggest a Nvidia 8800 (512mb or higher) or something in the Nvidia 9 series. I think you should up the ram to 4 gigs of DDR2 800 mhz, on a 64bit OS.
I'm concerned that the P4 3.2 chip won't be what your looking for, though. I would go for a multi-core proc, instead. That P4 cpu is over the listed min req as supported for the game, barely. If you can hold out for even the first week after release, at this point, you'd atleast be certain of exactly what the game needs for good performance.
EDIT-- The moment you decide to jump up to a vid. card like these your going to need a new PSU(650w for single card and 850w+ for SLI builds).
If you plan to set the rig up to run more than 2 HDD's, 3 +optical drives, 3+ 5.25 case fans and a PCI sound card, jump the PSU up to 800w for single gpu card and 1000w+ for SLI.

Do you think the XFX Geforce 8600GTS 512MB PCI-E will be okay with AoC?? Will buy a couple of gbs of Ram aswell:)
Will it be ok, I actually think so. Sry, I just got the impression you wanted to run the game on high+. I'm hoping for med-high myself but I'll have to see.
Anyway, I think it will run it but with that cpu and the 8600 I think it will run inbetween low-med(hoping for medium). But, again just a few days after launch would give you so much more info. on the real sys. req.'s.

It should run ok with that. OK not great. 4 1k cards is def a must at this point . They suggest a rating of 4.8 to run AoC and I am guessing you might get a little lag and choppiness with that. I still get some lag but most likely server lag in towns with a 5.9.
You might want to go one up though to at least the 8800, it is a big jump for not much more money. and my guess is WAR might be a bit more intense.
Good Luck.
As long as your motherboard has an open PCI-E slot, or even has one to begin with, it will be fine. I run a 9800 GX2, 4GB of ram, and an AMD Phenom, and it runs easily on max. An 8800 with those specs should run low to medium low, no issues.
Again, make sure your motherboard has a PCI-E slot that can support your card, and you should be okay.
Good luck
The thing is m8 there are alot of ppl saying"8800gt" card, which is a great gaming card but with your cpu you could end up bottle necking it and getting no-where near its use,The thing is its ok to have a great gamming card but you cpu is just about on the min spec's,My advice is get the game and play it and go from there and dont waste money on great cards when the rest of your system will drag it down.
If someone had came up to me in 1980 when I was on my Atari 2600 and said we will be playing games with thousands of people at the same time.I guess my response would have been,"but I only have 2 joysticks"

Now you will buy your video card. Tomorrow your power supply. Then your RAM. Then your HD. Then your MoBo. Then your chassis. Then your monitor.
And then your FiOS.
More like the graphic card will drag the system up! :DD
