Bumper Sticker contest - why not Europe

Morning all,

so I've just seen the news posting on the new bumper sticker contest for the game, with the prize being a cameo in issue #8 of the comic (which we still don't have in Europe but don't even get me started on that!!). So my question is, do you guys know any good reason why this contest should only be open to players in the "US and Canada (excluding Quebec)" - to quote from the contest rules. It seems ridiculous that, with no scheduled European release, and loads of people playing the game in Europe on import from that States, that NCSoft and Cryptic keep ignoring us as players. Is our money not as good as anyone elses??

this has been discussed all over the COH boards. The reason is because when they do contests that have prizes there are legal concerns when dealing with many other countries. NCsoft would like for such contests to include evryone, but it would require a diffferent set of rules (and lawyers with understanding of international laws) many different areas/countries.
