Running 7950 GT SLI. Upgrade to single 8800GT?

Noticed the deal on newegg for $159 with rebate. So im debating upgrading. So far I've been pretty unimpressed with SLI and thinking of switching to a single 8800GT. Is it worth it? I wont be going to Vista anytime soon so DX10 isn't a concern to me.

Is AoC even going to support SLI?
