Teaming

1. How to Form a Team:

In the game, a menu will pop up if you press and hold SHIFT while right clicking on another player. Choose the 'Team' icon in the menu to invite another player to join your team. When a team is formed, the team panel will be shown on the left side of the screen. If you want to join other teams, follow the same operation.

Each teammate can click the 'x' icon to quit and the leader can disband a team by clicking the icon “x” on the team panel. If the leader quits the team, the member next to his position will be the default new leader.

2. The Limitations of Forming a Team:

1) There is a limitation for the players whose levels are under 30 to form a team. A team cannot be formed if the difference between members' levels is above 10 (including 10). The system will pop up a message to inform players. This rule doesn't apply to the player whose level is above 30.

2) There is an upper limit for the number of teammates. Players under level 60 can only form a five-member team. Players above level 60 can form a nine-member team at most depending on the reputation level of the team leader. Specific rules are as follows:

500 Reputation  6 Members

1000 Reputation  7 Members

2000 Reputation  8 Members

5000 Reputation  9 Members

The distribution of exp and items for a multi-member team is the same as for a five-member team.

3. Additional functions in a team:

1) Give Items to teammates:

a) In the same scene, you can give items to your teammates just by clicking on their characters.

b) When your teammates receive the items, the system will pop up a message to inform them. If their item bags are already full, the items will be dropped on the ground.

2) Teammates Position Display:

A) A teammate icon turns grey when the teammate is not in the same scene. Only his current scene and his connection status will be updated.

4. Team as a guild:

All the members of a guild are considered in a team when they are in special scenes such as Guild Quests and State Wars. The current team will be disbanded when combat begins. Players can form new teams in new scenes.

5. Compulsive Team:

Players are asked to disband their current teams before entering Dungeon, Guild Wars and some other scenes. A team is automatically formed and cannot be disbanded in these scenes. Only players who are killed and quit the scenes can leave the team.

6. EXP Distribution in a Team:

1) Initial distribution: According to the damage contribution of each member who are within a certain range around the killed monster.

2) Redistribution within the team: According to the numbers and levels of teammates.

3) EXP Discounts: If a player whose level is the highest in his team and is higher than his enemy, he cannot get the full EXP. The higher his level is than his enemy, the less EXP he can get.

4) A teammate has the attribute to get more EXP.

5) System default EXP.

The above mentioned rules only apply to EXP obtained by killing mobs.

7. Items Distribution in a Team:

The teammate that gives the NO.1 total contribution is entitled to Items

Items drop rate is determined by the following factors:

1) If a teammate whose level is the highest in a team and is higher than his enemy, he is less possible to get the Items. The higher his level is than his enemy, the less possible he can get the Items.

2) A teammate has the attribute to increase the Item drop rate. It’s up to  the average value in a team.

3) System Default Item drop rate

Then, the player who gets the Item is chosen according to his level in the team.

We highly suggest that players explore PDO world in a team as you can have more fun with a group of friends and it will give you a chance to make new friends.
