Hello all. I like many others was unfortunate enough to purchase this game when it first launched, and ended up kicking myself over spending the money. However, I am not one to hold a grudge, and since I have found myself looking for something new to play, and was curious how the game has fared over a year later. So really just your standard questions:

1) How has the game changed over the past year?

2) Have the performance issues been worked out for the most part?

3) If I do decide to pick it back up, how are the server populations looking?

Really I have been hearing a lot of good things from people these past few months, so it sparked my interest. I was actually planning on picking up AoC, but after playing PVP/Open/Closed beta I really don't think I am ready to drop $50+ on i, especially when I could check this out for only $15.

Lots of performance increases and bug fixes. A raid dungeon. Flying mount quest (Griffon and Wyvern). Lots of new 6 man content added with the flying mount quest.

Still *some* performance issues like hitching. It has improved 1000x than a year ago however. The beginning of the hitching fix is on the test server and will be released with GU5.

If you're from the US then Xeth and Seradon have very high population. I think Seradon has slightly more. Halgar is the european server.
I'm enjoying it very much. Check out my blog at www.vgmonologues.net

"monologues" is the key word here, though
