    Define "good."

    And that is why...

Conservatives' pessimism is conducive to their happiness in three ways. First, they are rarely surprised -- they are right more often than not about the course of events. Second, when they are wrong they are happy to be so. Third, because pessimistic conservatives put not their faith in princes -- government -- they accept that happiness is a function of fending for oneself. They believe that happiness is an activity -- it is inseparable from the pursuit of happiness.

Do you find getting ganked fun? If so then it's fun.
    HOW CAN SHIPS BE UPGRADED...
Each ship has slots for riggings that can be upgraded.
    HOW OS PVP
It's a complete and utter gankfest. The developers cater to griefers.
CAN YOU BUY ALLOT OF SHIPS
You can own five ships at a time.

Very doubtful. Whatever you do don't shell out money to buy it without getting a buddy key and testing it out for free first.

What are the differences in PvP?  Or is it the economy or other areas where the games are different?

    I have a question:

If you like EvE - why are you looking for another game exactly the same as EvE to play?

There is a ton of stuff written on both games - I have never played EvE (yet - will do "soon" though) and yet I had no trouble finding out all about it and how it plays.

Ultimately though - the only way to know if you like a game is to play it yourself.

There is a buddy key request thread in this forum AND (IIRC) there is a free trial coming up?

Nothing says irony like spelling ideot wrong.

i own potbs, although im not currently subscribed because i decided my pc just can't handle it as smoothly as i'd like it too. The game is really fun, the first time you go port flipping you will begin to love this game. Theres nothing better than seeing 100+ ships sail past you on there way to overthrow a port. I did a few port raids in my 2 months of playing and it was a blast. The gfx are amazing, and it requires a decent computer to run, im running a not so decent P4 3gz, 2gig ram, and a x1650 pro ati which can't handle this game on the OS. I have owned EvE also, I wouldn't say its exactly like eve but there are some similarities. The devs have been hard at work on this game and they just keep adding more things and balancing classes. Its a great game and its definitly worth a try.

Yet I see by your sig you have played 4 hours of Age of Conan this week?

I found these system spec recommendations for AoC:

    OS: Windows Vista/XP

    Processor: 3GHz Pentium IV

    RAM: 1GB RAM

Video Card: Shader Model 2.0 and 128MB RAM: NVIDIA GeForce 5800 or ATI 9800

    Recommended

Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz (E6600) or better

Vdeo Card: NVIDIA GeForce 7950GX2 or better

    RAM: 2GB or more

    Enhanced for: DirectX 10, 64-bit processors, multi-core

    PotBS is:

    Minimum Machine Spec:

    • Windows® XP

    • Pentium® IV 1.5 GHz or greater

    • 512 MB RAM

    • DirectX 9 Compatible video card: NVidia® GeForce™ FX 5700, ATI® Radeon® 9600, or equivalent with 128 MB of texture memory

    • DirectSound compatible audio hardware

    • Broadband Internet connection

    • 16x DVD-ROM

    • 4 GB Hard Drive space

    Recommended Machine Spec:

    • Windows® XP/Vista

    • Core Duo 2.0 GHz or greater

    • 1024 MB RAM

    • DirectX 9 Compatible video card: NVidia® GeForce™ 6600, ATI® X850, or equivalent with 256 MB of texture memory

    • DirectSound compatible audio hardware

    • Broadband Internet connection

    • 16x DVD-ROM

    • 4 GB Hard Drive space

So it looks to me like PotBS should run BETTER than AoC on your system?

or did I read that wrong?

No not that bad - it does have a great economy, there is more work to get things balanced but still has lots of potential to be popular.
