Early Access Slow download, i need some help

    Thanks for all the help, I called my ISP and cussed em , seemed to solve the problem.

    so I limited the upload to 25 and kept everything else the same as default and suddenly I've gone from barely 300 to almost 700 :D



    ( I tried that earlier but did the pause and play thing, this time I didnt pause it or anything, just switched the upload limit to 25, seemed to work better )

    Keep in mind this when downloading ANYTHING from Bittorrent.. and with this goes the saying.. Momma was right.

    Currently downloading at about 350 kbps a second, 10.5 hours left to go, started 2 hours ago.

     

    13.6% complete.

    The two of you should just log into your Funcom account,...their should be a link in it for you too start downloading it ..

     

    I havent recieved the email yet either,

    But,their was a link in my account for early access all ready to go.. downloading it now

    How is that possible? I'm downloading at 530 KB/s and i have 2 days and 11 hours.

     

    Is something messed up? or did you download some part at blazing speeds before?

    EDIT: nevermind. Realized it takes an average of download speed, not than the current speed. And since it was download at 15 KB/s for about an hour, it was slow to change the average displayed.

    BTW:  1 KB/s = 8kbps. Hence why 3000 kbps does not give 3MB/s download speed. Just thought you would like to know. ^^

    well I started Downloading the client 5/12 around 5pm and it just finished around 8pm tonight. LOL  At least Ive got it installed and patched now, just waiting for the early access to begin
