Early access download errors?

in Age of Conan: Unchained

hey team

Download took quite some time but it is done... however, when running the install, the rdb6, 8,10, 11, ... files generate an error. The installer keeps going, but i am worried if anything will happen during the game.

Is anyone experiencing this at all?

    Are you downloading from the link that they gave you in your email? They are having issues with people downloading from the wrong source that are being posted and various forum sites and even official forums.  If you are infact downloading from the right place, I can't help ya till I finish the download my self.

    if there is something wrong with it, but it finishes installing, the patcher should take care of it when you log in. if you do like a full scan or whatever. (that is how it works on other mmo's i have played)

    I agree, i remember having the same issue with the FilePlanet download and game worked ok. Just wondering if i am the only one...

    I got my email 3.5 hours ago. I'm at 55% with 2.5 (approx) hours to go. After the speeds ramped up the least I've seen is 700KBps and it's pretty regularly at 800+. No errors.

    I heard that some people had issues when they accidently parked the p files in their desktop folder.

    it's actually not an error during download...but once the download is over and you run the installer.

    Just finished installing, got no errors. But I have it installed on a 500 gigabyte SATA II HDD set to RAID 0.

    Did they do this to help prevent massive bottle necks upon release?

    I got mine set up, but patcher says 'Downloading Patch Information' and doesnt do anything, is that simply because the patch isnt till tomorrow?

    Ah. I see. Thank you for correcting my misunderstanding. I have about 1.5 hours to go so I'll report more accurately then. :)
