Why are the two most active threads on this forum just bashing on AOC??? I thought this was the WAR forum... At least thats what I came to read about when I came to this forum, why not take your rants over to the AOC forum??? Do you intentionally do it so your other WAR fanboys can back you up on your own forum?? Please enlighten me.

Is because of the jealously on the whole that AoC is more popular, reached 1 million beta applications first and looks like will be having a successful launch. Some people that follow warhammer cannot take this and therefore have to post negativity here out of the limelight. Its like " lets bash the competition here and no one will see....snicker snicker"
It would would be better for these boards here if those people who are really scared of AoC being popular just stopped posting for a while.
Who knows, but its for certain that warhammer fans should thank Funcom.
Mythic was not even going to have sieging like it is now until everyone saw how awesome they look in Conan.
Then Mythic borrowed AoC's innovative SpellWeaving concept and added that into their game.
Then Mythic lifted the skin for crafting from AoC and then made it warhammerish, (but its essentially the same)
Then Mythic saw how cool Stealthing looked in AoC and went back on their word and but it into Warhammer Beta. People were in both beta's and it was really easy to see which game was stale. Good for Mythic for adding a little spice to the war.
Then Mythic saw that AoC has sieges with set spots for siege weapons (cough AoC)

It would be better, but it would be the same as asking posters to actually post calm, collected discussions all the time without the retards saying just about anything just to anger or make fun OPs.
I like a little color in debates, but the length that some actually go to is beyond me.
Im honestly dumbfounded by the ratical fanboyism I see for some of these MMO's coming out recently. I plan on getting both of these games when they're released(Already tried AOC actually and thought it was great). But seriously I come to the WAR forum to see peoples thoughts on WAR! Not on how much the Fanboys hate AOC because its taking some of the subscriber base away! Its pathetic, if you dont like AOC go tell people on the AOC forum were it belongs! Dont degrade the WAR player base with your idiotic need to be rooting for the most l33t game out there..... And get rid of this ridiculous mind set that you can be a fan of only 1 game!

I totally agree! It's the self-righteousness I can't stand in some posts. No tolerance for other points of view but theirs. They don't have to agree with one another, but have the respect of acknowledging the views of others. But that's not society atm. It's right over might, though some try to use might to be proven right.

1. Scolding fanboys just doesn't work. definition of a fanboy is someone who will spew out worship with only partial facts, while 2 fingers are stuck in their ears to any criticism.
2. How about not bringing up WAR vs. AOC is your first post... maybe post some innovative new thread?
3. Why not attack fanboys in general in a pub thread or something... as if it is limited to WAR and AOC. puleeeze. I have lately decided to start posting alot more just because fanboys are constantly coming in to troll.
The quiet, but vast majority is pulling for both games... why wouldn't you? no really - WHY...WOULDN'T...YOU?

Believe me if two of the biggest threads in the AOC forum were direct bashing of WAR then I would have posted this thread there, however by looking at the two forums unbiasedly its easy to see there is much more bashing going on in this forum over AOC, then there is at the AOC forum over WAR. Look through almost any thread on this forum and at some point a fanboy will come out of no where and start spouting about how WAR>AOC in some way or another... Cant you people just enjoy the games for what differences they have instead of just wanting them to be the same or claiming one is Soooo much better then the other that anyone who sais otherwise is a total lunatic.

Face it Warhammer and AoC are linked togeather somehow in forums, Its the same with Gamespot forums. Just live with it cause were gamers and this is what we do WARRRR.

I don't know if you are refering to the thread I opened. Believe me or not I wrote and edited the last comment before reading your post. I don't want to bash AoC here, just follow its development from a WAR followers point of view.
That said, I won't hide I'd like AoC to fail, because I don't think it's a good thing a MMOG using extreme violence and requiering to spend hundreds of euros to upgrade a 1yo computer (as mine, yes). But I will respect a well done MMORPG, if that is the case.
Well at least you can admit it lol, however I'm sure there are many who do like the level of gore and graphics that are in AOC(Me for one),however you have to admit that the game just looks absolutely amazing with all details pumped, and yes I am aware it requires a beefy pc to do that. But if you dont think people are willing to upgrade their pc for one game your just wrong, think of hundreds of thousands of people that bought xbox 360's just for Halo 3 or GTA4.

Fanbois didn't start those threads arse ... maybe if you looked at those posters histories you'd of seen altairzq hates everygame and just masks himself as a fan boi periodically. He talks incredibly down on WAR constantly yet lies and says he's a fan, tikovoo is confused one day he likes war and the next he hates it. Hell he doesn't even know how to speak the truth has his post on this thread has already shown, he makes up for over half the negative posts in this forum. As for some of the others they were AoC followers but became heavily unhappy / discontened and jumped ship thus those of us have been in this WAR forum for a while have been hoping these BS stupid retarded threads by NOobs would stop. Thanks for adding to the idiocy and confirming my reasons for staying away from here more often. MMORPG.Com forums Suck ass for any sort of real conversation involving a game you like. I just get hyped on WAR sometimes (thanks to Paul enthusiasm mostly), but then I think about it and see what seems to be the new WOW, and that gets me worried.
Also not being able to dive, and no underwater content. And no official forums. And no fishing. (I'm serious).
