Need some help with picking a MMOG

Well i'm tired of the exp grinding and the boring combat factors. I am gonna be playing EQ2 and if it doesn't turn out to be what I like then I need a backup plan.
I'm looking for an MMOG that doesn't have a really bad exp grind and doesn't have boring combat. Also needs to be for a casual gamer. I was looking into Planetside or City of Heroes. If anyone could give some suggestions and some information on the game then i'd appritate it. Thanks.

Both Planetside, and CoH are good choices for a casual player, as they don't have a long wait time to get into the action. Though, both feature exp grinding, and boring combat prominently, they would tide you over until Guild Wars comes out, which looks to be pretty good, and there's no monthly fee for GW.
