hmm.... anyone know of a class that would resemble the fast attacking caster because that was my favorite part of the game

hehe yup I had a tolans bracer for my level 60 twink ranger, takes forever to get enough arrows to kill anything, the damage was way to low, rangers became uber with the endless quiver and extra damage on arrows in the AA skills. I loved my ranger though, can do a bit of everything, cast, melee, shoot, tank (for short periods) and offcourse my alltime favorite...track.
A scout will be a real addition to any group with the oppertunity wheel, and all scout subclasses have their own 'wheels'.
The Ranger in EQ2 will be a master of stealth, traps, heroic opportunities and also opportunistic damage. They will no longer be the unwanted hybrid offspring of the warrior and druids that you see in EQLive. As a result they no longer have any spells but like all EQ2 classes will still rely on power to execute their abilities.
When it comes to archery they no longer get endless quiver but also keep in mind that archery uses power. So every arrow used will inflict heavy damage as an opportunistic attack rather than just shooting repeatedly like in EQLive. These rangers will be very different than the EQLive rangers with a very different yet defined role.
Hope that helps
