Maybe this should have been released first so people wouldnt be having these problems.
(1) Funcom always said "limited"
(2) Fumcom said call your retailer if you do not receive your keys by the end of april
(3) Funcom has no control over stupid retailers who do not tell the customers
(4) Funcom does not teach people how to read (maybe they should have)

Scraca, unfortunately on the preorder page it didn't mention what you posted, or if it did the fine print was fine.
Hell, i was lucky to find the fine print that says mounts won't be useable until level 40. Imagine all of the wailing and gnashing of teeth over that.
Anyway, the way i look at it is this. If i get somehow lucky and get into the pre play period, i will be happy but laggy and perhaps kinda crashy.
If i don't, then others will get to do the above and i will snicker a bit
OK, Funcom is a Big company, Best Buy, Gamestop etc have been selling this pre-order stuff for a long time. Are you telling me no one at Funcom ever read ANY of these ads for THIER product and didn't notice they were telling people they would "get" the 3 days early access if they pre-ordered?.......Please, do you call Pizza Hut or Domino's to make sure the coupon in the paper is correct? many times i have seen Typo's etc. I am not choosing sides here, just stating the facts.
or it teaches people how to NOT market a product. I looked at the websites and no where did i get the impression that after i bought and paid for a preorder, i would not get the chance to participate. In fact, it reads more like that i would get the chance IF i got a preorder CE, which meant if i got the CE i would get into early access. If i didn't get the CE, i would not be eligible for early access. Thats the way i read it, and i have no problems reading. Just goes to show that sometimes wording can be taken incorrectly, and marketing needs to define such items better.
i really love how sometimes fanbois are will to overlook ANYTHING bad, and devs cannot ever do wrong.
it did say it, there was even a link that said "some restrictions apply, click for more details"
As for the fanboy comment, well, you're just a tool. I'd much rather be a "fanboy" then someone who can't admit their own mistakes, and then have to blame someone else for them.

first of all, it is up to the retailers to say these things, Gogamer, where i ordered from did not say limited. But i read it on Funcoms site where they also stated to contact your retailer if you do not get your key by the end of April. I have confirmed with multiple stores that all the retailers had thier keys way before the end of april. BE mad at them not Funcom. By the way, i did not get into early access. But i dont blame funcom , its because i didnt read all the info and did not register my key until yesterday.

sorry i was looking at gogamer since i use their website to buy games...my apologies. And Pandrax.....your epeen must be huge. I have no need to quarrel, was just stating my observation. It seems someone needs some social lessons in the process.
I just wanted to confirm that the code was for the game/ ingame item. Or was there just a key for the ingame item and that could also get you EA if you paid for it?

I actually was getting at that they don't actually give you a code for EA, correct? Which means it was not a part of the preorder, just something extra as they stated.

I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings, But the only time you post anything about funcom or age of conan is when you are trolling. And if you aren't trolling, then sorry but you refuse to listen to anyone but the doomsayers and trolls. Not only that but you call anyone who tries to help you with real information a fanboy! how dense are you?

Mainly because in each topic you are saying the same thing and trolling. you apologized and I'm thankful. Well, I wont even bother with that as it's not about the topic at hand. All I can say is Don't blame the company who is doing everything they can to ensure a smooth launch. They obviously aren't perfect, and they have screwed up alot, Mainly like keeping the NDA up.
I recommend anyone having issues because of all of this to call or walk into yourgamestop and demand t otalk to their manager, if nothing else you'll get something free. or a discount.

well if i am wrong, why wouldn't i apologize? Your just being an ass now, saying i do this all the time. I don't. And i didn't same gamestop did I? i said gogamer.com. Little different.
If you like it fine, but EVERY mmo has criticism, especially on public forums, if you don't like reading it, then stop coming here. I played swg for 4+ years, i know to avoid that forum like the plague when i was playing the game.

Yeah, I sort of misread that about gamestop and gogamer, but they are all the same to be honest. I also don't mind when someone talks down about a game, but when they do it only to push people away from a game using misinformation, it get's on my nerves. If someone is going to talk bad and doomsay a game they need to have their facts straight before posting, otherwise expect to get corrected, and if I'm the one correcting, I tend to be an ass about it, obviously.

A stupid thread,lets put things straight here...
The d/l date was the 14th of May,which they changed at the start of the month to the 10th,most supplier's(including mine)were unaware of this also they were unaware of the limit to early access,funcom also stated today they would cancel accounts that pre-ordered but didnt follow up there pre-order(alot of ppl like the free items then cancel there order).
Now the problem is suppliers were trying to protect themselves aswell as plz player's,now by delaying the the codes these companies have upset there customer's by no fault of there own as FC decided to keep changing what they at 1st offered or by not informing the suppliers properly.
Say what you will but Funcom dropped the ball here and have upset quite a few player's and supplier's(yep do you think these suppliers enjoy all the phone calls they get today)
I hope that common sense prevails and they let the ppl in that bought the pre-order wanting early access,I mean whats the problem,well that is if the server's are ready.

BTW, stores such as bestbuy and gamestop and ebgames were handing out preorder cards without preordering the game. I know many many people who had multiple cards for the EA. These lead to many many people regestering for the early access who never preordered. Again not fumcoms fault but the stores themselves. Just look at ebay if you dont believe me. These 6$ an hour tools were not informed by the managers with any info about preorder and EA. If you made any calls to the stores you would already know this.
