Beta Testing Problems

As we all know, there have been people having much trouble getting into beta testing...for anybody with higher, or lower knowledge, please help out eachother in this forum, Thank You.

If you cannot speak of this subject because you are in beta, we understand fully.

    I have tried to sign up about 10 times, yet no email, i have been waiting for what must of been a week now scince my first one, if somebody can help explain this or the system they are using to let people in, that would be great. gracias.

    I dont sign up cuz i think theyll ignore me...................cuz im from Mexico, and a requirement for beta is to live in US or Canada.

    lol guys wtf, it's not an open beta!
    They started the closed beta testing on June first, with very few people (actually it was probably only people from the company and some other people)
    I think they've started adding people from the public & media in the closed beta last week, but that hasn't been confirmed. The open beta (where they'll also let people from anywhere test) should be like a month before release, but since there's a rumor they'll do like CoH (pre-order and get into beta) there might not be a real open beta. The game is slowly making it's name, but I guarantee you that buy october, they'll have enough pre-orders (with late beta access) and beta applications to have enough people to stress test the servers for the last month of testing.

    btw, signing up ten times won't do anything, they'll just keep your most recent application

    They ARE letting some of the people who applied into beta, but it's a very small number for now.

    To say the truth, I think putting only a few choosen players into closed beta is okay because that decreases the posibility that my name will be reserved. Arrrr... i want to keep my name in this game!! :)

    LOL- you know what you can all do if you want to get into the matrix beta- just pay 50$ for the opportunity!!! What a scam! You know they want to get the money out of your pocket before you find out just how not ready to go this game is... and yes, i do know for a fact.... NDA prevents saying more.... and no, i didn't pay for the beta, I have a very close friend who participated in image paid focus groups for the matrix in seattle.....

    Preordering will get you in beta AT SOME POINT, not right away.  Don't preorder and think you'll be getting in beta the next day, think more late this month/october - ish.

    Right now they are picking randomly (and by system specs).

    You do realize pre-orders cost about 5$?  If you pre-order, get into beta, decide it's absolutely craptastic, just cancel your preorder.   Most places even give you your 5$ back image

    They are working on getting the newsletter started up again. Hopefully once they get that running the devs will be more forthcoming with beta progress. I would greatly appreciate it if they would at least give us some info regarding how many ppl are currently in beta testing and when they plan to let more ppl in.

    Side not: I was expecting to see you having thousands of posts, like on the MxO forums =P  But here you're just as new as I am!

    I joined the Matrix forums when they first started up, do you know if they ever resolved the error 500 thing?

    There were about 150.000 applayers for closed beta testers. I am proudly 1 of 2000 which was chosen to test it and help fixing. PPL which were chosen for CLOSED Beta aren't random. Admins and Supporters choose the most qualified ppl due to their expitience on the MMORPG backgroud. I can't tell anything about open BETA but. Hold on.... :P
