Wish I could tell ya but I can not even play the game because my graphics card is not powerful enough to handle the piece of crap. Though all I can say is try visiting the site from the game list or somewhere around this site.
its a great game great graphics but... the only problem for most of the players even the ones involved in the cb. is the client is causing most players to have to download it after nearly every update with the chance of it not working
404 Page not found error suggests either that the address you tried to access was incomplete or mistyped. I don't think their web server has been offline.
if you can't get past the age verification page, check that you've selected an age that is at least 17yrs. Make sure that you're not blocking scripts and have java enabled in your browser. Lastly check Sun's web site to get the latest version of java. You could also try using a different we browser.
And one other thing, in regards to having to re-download the client. It should only be required if someone recieved a broken file when downloading the package. The fix for that is to find out what the filename of the package being distributed by Bittorrent is, rename your broken file to match, and then let BT add the missing parts. The rest of the issue is patching the game, which regardless of what anyone says, does not require downloading the client again. I could explain further but the final release should be coming out soon (19th). Hopefully they'll fix the patcher problems.
I've been trying to get to the site for a couple of days now, even following links from google give me a "Page cannot be displayed". I've tried in both FF and IE and nada.

I just tried getting to the page right now - works perfectly fine.
I just went to google, typed in Requiem and selected the link.
Suggestion for those who can't reach Requiem's site; run a tracert (click here if you need instructions). If the name (or IP) can't be resolved, that implies that the address is being blocked (either on your pc or by your ISP). You can learn more from a trace, but try it and let us know your results.

Seems the problem is between cogentco and ?
Edit: Ok, so Gravity Interactive is the publisher for Requiem right? So that means that I get all the way to their server, and no response from their server, right? So, why would it be I cannot connect to them, but others can...this is lame.
So, you're in japan and hop #7 is congested. The hops that follow compound the issue. Gravity's network is firewalled and isn't responding to the trace, hence it times out (it's not a problem). Is the pc you are using to connect to the game in your home, at work, a school or public access (wifi cafe)?
Most likely the root of the issue is that Requiem, being a "mature content" site, is being filtered by parental control either on your pc or your ISP's. If your point of access is a home network, use your administrator account to check firewall, anti-virus, hosts file and your router (if you have one). Check your account settings online, if your ISP provides you with that option. Many ISPs turn on "family-friendly" filtering by default (often without informing the customer). If you are using someone elses' network (your place of work, a public wifi, school or government site) your access may be filtered and you'd have to contact the network administrator to ask that Gravity be whitelisted.
You can try ruling out your pc as being the culprit of the block by turns off firewall, anti-virus, parental control software and anything else that might interact with your network access (make sure your web browser's parental controls are off) and try to connect to Requiem to. If you can connect normally then you know the issue is with your software. If not, then it's probably your ISP that is at fault. Call them and ask why they are blocking the address.
If you don't want to bother with tracking down the block, you can stick with your proxy . Just keep in mind that anything you do through a proxy can be recorded by the proxy owner (including login ID & passwords). If you have access to another pc that isn't being blocked, you would be safer setting up a VPN and routing your traffic through it.

Well, I've managed to get it, but I had to use a web-based proxy site to do it. Still don't know what the problem is.
