We are preparing to publish the latest update to the game today at noon. Our expected downtime is about 1 hour. There is no planned map reset.
If you would like more information about the ATRs, please visit Doc's primer on them in this forum. The basics are that you'll need to be prone ('v') and deployed ('b') to fire. These weapons are very big and have a lot of kick.
Also of note, we are planning to adjust the mechanism for the Hold At All Costs objective, most likely at the next map reset. We've given it some time to see how it plays on the server and the risk seems to be inadequate for the reward. We're are looking at having HAAC end if you loose control of the CP (town). This will bring it more in line with our expectations and promote the use of fallback as a more viable option. We'll be discussing this more in the coming weeks but I wanted to give you a heads up so you can start discussing the change.
Here's the read me for todays patch. You'll notice a couple additions besides ATRs. One is a new building, the garage. This building has a catwalk that you must duck down to enter upon. This caused a little confusion with our testing but is as designed. So in this case, it might walk like a duck (bug) but it isn't. Overall I think you'll really like the building. In the works her are new office buildings, which in this patch received a damage capacity bump to help th am stay undestroyed longer, as well as several new Belgians (the small brick buildings). This new garage is the first product of our new art intern "Granik". Welcome aboard sir.
Also deserving welcome is our new community management team, Badger and Shilling. These guys have been long time friends of the company and outstanding community volunteers, as well as personal friends. Welcome aboard fellas, I look forward to working with you.
Well that's about it for today's update. See you on the Meuse!

It's like the LMGs. First week everyone wanted to try them and went gung-ho doing the rambo thing. Only after that first week everyone realised that lmgs aren't the uber weapons they thought they were ;-)
