Seeking New MMORPG

Stolas16Stolas16 Member Posts: 4

I know a bajillion of these posts probably go through here, but as it is, I'm looking for a new MMORPG to get started on.

I've played WoW (several characters at 70), Final Fantasy XI (4 jobs at 75), Runescape (112 combat and 1600 skill total) and I'm on the lookout for a new game

I like the player-run economy, crafting, PvP is good, kinda mixed in with a good community

Chances are there might not be another MMO out there like this, but if anyone has ideas or suggestions, please do post here :) Thanks!

Having played AoC for the past good while, I can recommend it.  I really don't think you or anyone would be disappointed with the game - of course, personal tastes can differ.  The game is not only beautiful, it has pretty decent character customization reminescent of Star Wars Galaxies, an INCREDIBLE score, awesome artistic style, VERY WELL written and designed quests which have voice overs so NPC's actually talk to you and just a whole whackload of immersive details that really draw you into Hyboria.  Oh and the combat is damn fun!

Why do I write, create, fantasize, dream and daydream about other worlds? Because I hate what humanity does with this one.

BOYCOTTING EA / ORIGIN going forward.

Try out Dofus, the client download is only something like 100mb, and there's a large free trial area.

It's a turn based MMORPG (combat is turn based, other things happen in real time), and you might end up liking it. If you won't end up liking it, at least it's something to pass the weekend with, while waiting for AoC to be released (and possible reports of AoC release client performance from people who have early access)

If you don't mind me asking, what are the spec minimum/recommended for AoC? I'm unable to find them atm, or could someone point me in the right direction?

I have a good computer, but the video card is...yea, and my geforce has been acting up on me. So i had to use the onboard VC, which runs WoW fairly choppy.
